A man shot and wounded in broad daylight. Police believe its case of road rage. It happened this morning after two cars nearly collided. There were several witnesses who stopped right in the middle of the roadway and gave police descriptions of the suspect and the suspects vehicle. Police are not asking for help which is a pretty good indication they have a few good leads to go on. The victim of the shooting continues to recover. Be driver of the silver compact car is in the hospital tonight, a victim of road rage. He was driving south on center road about 10 20 this morning when another driver pulled out of the Mobile Home Park and the two nearly collided. Thats when things turned ugly. The victim stopped his car and engaged the suspect in some sort of dialogue. The passenger pulled out a firearm and opened fire. Reporter the man was hit more than once. One bullet lodged in his car door. Witnesses say they saw the suspect flee as the victim hit the ground. They called 911 and while several of those witnesses are working with Police Providing descriptions of the vehicle and the suspect, more than one of them told me in this neighborhood they dont want their names and faces on tv.
