The tree came down after a constant downpour this morning in the city, and the tree also took down some power lines. It crashed onto a garage. Given the size of the tree, neighbors are just glad no one was hurt. I came back home, i could smell gas in my garage. Were like, oh, okay, you know, i could see why they evacuated everybody. Thats a good idea. Reporter right now, a disappointment for thousands of baseball fans. The asgiants game in oakland was rained out. The kcoliseum is known for flooding. Meteorologist anthony slaughter here with the forecast. Get your hands up, will you, please . I love roller coasters. You know, the good thing about the weather that we had today, even though it was raining, it wasnt terribly cold. You could still get out on some of the roller coasters. Great america a great place to get out and enjoy. Still, right now, if youre out there, or have family or friends out there, we do still have showers in the region. I want to zoom in on the heavier bands of rain. Across 680, 880 as well and extends south of san mateo, over to woodside, even hayward in the middle of this. This band of rain pushing through right now, another heavier band of rain, like we saw earlier, and once this moves out, i do think were going to be done with the rain. You can see after a few hours, really from San Francisco off the coast, i would say about two or three hours after this pushes through, well be done with the rain. Well see the rain come to an end, and were talking about sunshine for tomorrow. Lets get you into that forecast. First, though, lets show you the rainfall totals. Impressive amounts really up to about an inch and some change in napa. Same for mill valley. Orinda around an inch. The rain continues to fall. You know what, even right now were still seeing the raindrops on some of our camera lenses and heavier rain on the radar. You can see it from the camera perspective. Low visibility and definitely some slick roads this evening. So if youre headed out, take it easy on the roadways. Showers will begin to clear out as we head through the evening hours. Walnut creek, 63. And livermore right around 64 degrees. As i mentioned, we have another storm headed our way, monday into tuesday. The thing about this system thats different from the one were getting today is the core of the low will actually pass right over the bay area. If you know anything about weather, this is very dangerous, because were talking about the potential for strong gusty winds coupled with heavy rain and thunderstorms. Well watch this very closely. Youll recall about a month ago in february, the beginning of february, we had a really strong storm come through, dumped about 11 inches in the north bay. This is something well be paying attention to closely because it will get so close to us. The threat for thunderstorms exists all over. Well track it here and online at nbcbayarea. Com. Back to you.
