School campus. Police say two students were injured during a robbery at silver creek high school. Investigators say an unknown male with a weapon approached a girl and demanded property and took off. The same suspect used a blunt object to attack the teenage boy who was trying to help the girl. The teen was taken to the hospital. Cops arent sure if the gunman is a student or not. The fbi and Campbell Police are trying to track down robbers who pulled off a heist at this bank this afternoon. Both described as white or hispanic. Investigators say they came into the bank about 12 45 this afternoon. A third man drove the get away vehicle, a red gmc sierra. Police say the truck was stolen yesterday and dumped about a mile from the bank. Police believe the robbers are in a green tahoe. Cisco shares fell today after the Silicon Valley tech giant announced a big round of lof layoffs. Cisco says it will cut five percent of its workforce. Officials are trying to determine what she was doing on campus. They believe she may have been trying to reenroll in school. The victim, as you said, has been identified but School Officials are still trying to determine why she was on campus. They believe she was trying to go back to school. The victim has been identified as 49yearold magna gonzalez of san jose. Most students we talked to today hadnt heard about the tragedy. I got an email this morning about crisis counseling today. Reporter city College Officials say the speculation is that gonzalez was on campus to reenroll. She was a student in the fall of 2009. The San Jose Community College District Police Department is leading the investigation to find out exactly what happened. In close quarters like that it seems like there would be someone directing such things as the tractor. Reporter in the meantime work has been halted at the site where gonzalez was killed. There is no word as to when that construction will resume. Students tell me they will pay more attention to the numerous other construction zones on campus. They are well marked. Reporter the bees you see around you pollinating in plants like this especially in your backyard may not catch your attention, but the activity is important, more important than you think. The study says that 40 to 90 of bees world wide has died. Reporter a San Francisco urban beekeeper. She says bees are in trouble and we have to do something about it now. I feel like most people dont know that they pollinate up to 70 of our food. Can and its interesting the types of food that they pollinate, it is the sweetness of our life that we are going to miss. Reporter tim brown is a part of the Pesticide Research institute and coauthor of the study. He says 13 samples of garden plants purchased at big box retailers contain neurotoxic pesticides. The results of the study shows that about half of the compositet samples that we analyzed detected positive for these which are potentially harmful towards bees.
