Cadaver dogs were brought in to search three Different Properties linked to tang. In napa county a person died of botulism. This is the second attorney have died from this rare disease. Investigators are not release ing the name. A father died from the outbreak this month. Botulism is caused by tainted food and symptoms are face practice slis, blurry vision, difficulty breathing and in rare cases death. A murder trial of three santa clara jail guards is now in the hands of the jury. They had it for about two hours now. The jury started deliberating whether correctional deputies, jereh lubrin, Rafael Rodriguez and Matthew Farris beat a bipolar inmate to death. The three could get a life sentence if they did. Michael tyree was found dead in his cell. The coroner said his spleen was nearly ruptured in two. The three jail guards are also charged with the assault under color of authority of juan villa, a second mentally ill inmate on the same night. During the trial some former inmates testified that they saw all three deputies in tyrees cell and heard tyree crying for help. The defense contends the testimony of those inmates is not to be trusted and that tyree died from injuries he inflicted upon himself. Reporter the scientist with the bay area air Quality Management wasnt familiar with the plants permit history but said the air in the bay view is only marginally worse than the rest city. He blames the stress of poverty, high crime and limited access to health care. So as far as youre concerned the only difference in factor from bay view is that they have higher crime . No. Poverty. Higher poverty, higher crime, you know higher levels of stress in general. And in this eastern half of San Francisco relatively high pollution levels. Reporter he also said cement plants emit a less harmful type of dust thats four time larger pariticles particles. But this Industry Study found cement plants do emit in the any particles. This is an environmental chemist at uc is santa cruz and says he did see high levels of the harmful particles. Reporter she lost her home in the big lake county fire in 2015. She was forced to relocate. But she said she cancelled many of her Home Services including her dish network service. Several months later she saw charges on her debit account for dish network service. She also says dish turned her over to collections for nonpayment. Catherine said she called dish and told her story to them but they said no you only paused your account you didnt cancel it. Catherine said thats not true. She pointed out to dish she no longer has a home or dish equipment or dish service. Dish told her that didnt matter. So she reached out to us for help. We contacted dish and refunded 229. The amount it had charged her after her home had burned. It also contacted the Credit Bureaus to restore her credit.
