As the car slows down the girl lies motionless. The driver and mother motorist rushing to her aid. Once i picked her up and put her n my arms it was heartbreaking. She just had this horrified look on herr face. I just had to not think about my family, my children and just focus on her. He says he was at the right operation at the right time and is a licensed emt and volunteer firefighter, the 31yearold would never normally move a trauma patient but in this case he had to make a quick decision for her safety. I couldnt risk further damage to her by a vehicle hitting her or hitting one of us or any of the other bystanders on the scene, so i just had to take action and get her out of that road. The driver of the bus unaware of what happened returned about 15 minutes later. The young girl was returned to the hospital where she was treated for a broken jaw and was later e leased, expected to make a full recovery. As an emt, he says hes trained to handle these situations, but right it rap. Was nothing is worse that dealing with a child and never getting the image out of your head.
