Right now if youre not planning to head to the snow, you may want to after this shot of lake tahoe. I was up in lake tahoe recently. 36 degrees and we are seeing a few folks out there, thanks to our underground weather sky cam. It is chilly there. Here in san jose, San Francisco, the majority of the bay area were in the 50s. Look at this, right now Half Moon Bay 55 degrees, san jose 62 degrees. Already at this hour, and we started with the 50s. If youre wondering about these hazy skies, heres why. Look at doppler radar. You can see all of those clouds pushing into the bay area right now. You can see the storm sitting off to the pacific northwest. Now, lucky for us, that High Pressure is going to keep us dry. That is going to keep all of that rain off to the north and that is going to keep us nice and dry through the weekend ahead. Now over the next couple of hours, heres a quick check of what can expect. Lets take a quick check of the temperature trend. We will be warming up to 67 degrees by 1 00 and that is probably going to be our high today in San Francisco. San jose also warming up quite nicely. San jose is going to be warming up in the 70s so we definitely see a lot of those 70s this weekend. Were not really expecting a change as we head into the weekend. 62 degrees right now. By 4 00, 71 degrees. A great night for a nice dinner on the patio maybe. Now over the next seven days, we are expecting to see some changes in the forecast, but theyre going to be good changes. And with that comes spring. We are anticipating march 20th arrival with that spring forward coming on sunday. Here is a quick check of your pollen report. Medium to high. Judging on the pollen report i was looking at for tomorrow and sunday, it looks like its going to be very high on sunday. So, if you had plans to be outside on sunday, take note of that. You may want to take some extra tissues or whatever it is you have to do to keep the allergies under control. You wouldnt want it to ruin your weekend. And speaking of weekend, napa valley sounds good right about now. Look at these 74 degrees for friday, saturday 75, and then sunday right now is shaping up to be probably the warm est day of the weekend at 78 degrees. Not just in napa, but also right here in the San Francisco and san jose area as well. Heres a quick check of the next 7 days. We keep that High Pressure dominating in the forecast through the weekend. Tomorrow 65, and then by sunday 64 degrees. And then look at this. We stay dry through the upcoming workweek. Now, on wednesday we do have a very weak disturbance that could bring the possibility of seeing a few showers in the north bay, but for now inland areas 74 degrees on saturday, 72 as we head into sunday. And then on monday 73 degrees. Now, i think on sunday is probably going to be the day where we get the most sunshine so im going to call this pool day. I might have to head out to the pool which means please get some sun block and get ready for spring, almost summer. Is it too soon . Sending it back to you. Depends how much youve been working out.
