The search continues for any signs of kiely rodni, the 16 yearold who was last seen at a party at the prosser family campground. The concert, aimed to celebrate kielys love of music and to support her family. Her mom, lindsay, sent us this video. It is so important to restore ourselves in this search, and the determination to bring my daughter home. Reporter meter kiely, nor her cell phone have been found. Investigators now tell us, the last being they got from her cell phone was around 12 30 a. M. On august 6th, near the lake where the water party was. Increasing search efforts this weekend. Unfortunately, there have been no fruitful leads that have led us in a solid direction. The fbi is working. Reporter steve fernando, helping with private investigations of missing person cases thanks there is still hope for finding kiely. Doesnt concern me, as an investigator, that we are at a week. Developing now, a scary and tragic scene is unfolding in pennsylvania tonight. One person is dead, and at least 17 others are hurt or in the hospital after a car plowed through a crowd. A fundraiser for the families of victims killed in the house fire just last week. Investigators say, they tracked down the suspects, calling his actions, egregious. Anybody to get attacked, the person who did these heinous crimes tonight. They are in custody right now. His name will be released as to not jeopardize the investigation. Listen to this. After the crash, police say, they believe the suspect drove to a nearby town and killed a woman. No word yet on the motive. New at 11 00, another first for employees at a santa cruz starbucks shop. The starbucks on ocean and warner street in santa cruz was the first in california to vote to join a union. Today, it became the first store in california to go on strike. Workers say, starbucks is involved in unfair labor practices, like denial of some benefits, interfering with rights to distribute and read union material, and changing store hours without consulting with the union. These changes in store hours are actually a national thing that starbucks is doing in all stores, union or not they are not choosing to bargain with any store regarding them. They are actually refusing to. Workers claim, the strike will last two more days. We reached out to starbucks for comment, but have not yet heard back. Mental Health Workers at Kaiser Permanente say, is likely they will strike in a matter of days now. 2000 psychologists, therapists, counselors, social workers, set to start monday at hospitals throughout the bay area, as well as sacramento and fresno. Mental Health Workers say, they want to see big improvements to meet record demand for Mental Health care. The group is also claiming that kaiser is canceling opponents for patients. Thats the potential strike, and kaiser in a statement, said, quote, the union is well aware of the strike that will inevitably hurt Kaiser Permanentes ability to meet the needs of our patients. Thats the point of the strike. The reality is, strikes will only reduce access to our care in a time of Unprecedented Demand protesters were outside San Franciscos laguna honda hospital again today, hoping they can convince officials to keep the facility open. The centers for medicare and medicaid announced they would close the longterm care facility, because it failed to meet standards for sanitation, patient monitoring, record keeping, and more. Protesters say, those things can be fixed in laguna honda, which is a valuable asset. In addition, family members, worrying the move could be deadly. They say, transfer trauma is a real risk for these patients. I want you to look at the numbers. If the numbers are correct, between five and nine people have died. Protesters say, theyre not giving up until they know that San Francisco hospitals will remain open for good. The city has also filed a lawsuit to try to stop the closure. For now, tatian transfers are on pause, and we reached out to the hospital and the centers for medicare and medicaid for comment, but neither has responded. New development in the case of a Union City Woman shot and killed yesterday. Police say, theyve arrested two men. A 29yearold union city man, being charged with murder, and a 60yearold union city man, accused of accessory after the fact. The victim has been identified as 28yearold john dolly del city. He died at the scene. A grieving San Francisco mother is renewing efforts to help solve her sons call case. Investigators teamed up with the family of aubrey today, handing out flyers, asking for help in solving the 2006 case. Aubrey was 17 years old when he got a text message, urging him to come outside of his house. When he did, he was killed in a hail of bullets with automatic weapons. The suspected gang, even though aubreys mother says, he was not involved in gang activity, things someone has information that can lead to justice for her son. I knew as well as i did in death as when he was alive. If i continue to bring awareness to the unsolved homicides, maybe other kids cases may get solved. Its not just about my son. This weekend, the citys Health Department tweeted, there was no line at the San FranciscoGeneral Hospital monkeypox clinic. Wednesday, upper 90s into solano county. That is the area of the excessive heat watch. Might be east bay valleys, perhaps, included in that. We will stay tuned into that part of the forecast for tuesday through thursday, hardest parts of the week. Also, watching monsoon moisture and that can make for thunderstorms near the sierra.
