Reporter this morning fire evacuees are here together at the morganfield Community Center where firefighters told many of them they can finally return home. And tonight one couple graciously allowed us to tag along. The scariest was monday night when the Mushroom Cloud was there and the sky was glowing. Reporter the loma fire speeding toward their home lucy and her husband fled on monday gathering their cat, dog, goats, important papers and family h r heirlooms. Then they watched from afar. One of the toughest moments i can remember in my life. I hope it doesnt have to be the start of a new life but it may be. Officers say a 14yearold girl was riding her bike through the park at 3 30 in the afternoon. As she rode past the man. The girl says he exposed himself to her. A Daring Rescue in marin after a man fell off his bicycle and down a streep ravine on lucas valley road. The man in his 60s was biking up the hill too slowly. And he could not brace himself because his cycling shoes were clipped into his bike pedals. He fell over the side into the ravine and landed here on top of these rocks. The cause of the accident being called a little bit unusual. Normally we respond to a high speed bicycle accident down the turns but this is the opposite. The firefighters used a rope and pulley system to get him up to the road here. He may have broken a bone or two and has several cuts and bruises but is expected to be okay. And firefighters went to check out smoke coming from a storm drain here and found a homeless man trapped inside the storm drain. It happened this morning. First responders pulled the man out of the storm drain. He was taken to the hospital. No word on how long he had been down there. Frustrations ran high for netflix users today. It will be quick starting in the north bay and making its way into San Francisco at lunchtime and spreading south into the trivalley and south bay. The temperatures will be similar to today. The reason we have rain coming is because of this area of low pressure that brought showers to seattle and portland. Tomorrow morning it will be over santa rosa. Well see the first showers by 8 30 in the morning. And the showers spread to napa and fairfield. And then pushes over to oakland at lunchtime. Look what happens by 12 30 all the way down to the south bay. That is a quick burst of thunderstorm activity. We may see one or two thunderstorms as we get the heat of the day. 1 30 in the afternoon, the showers in the south bay. And that will be the best chance of seeing the showers for the south bay in the afternoon. Then we dry out around tomorrow evening. A break in the rain and monday morning we start off dry but cloudy. And on monday, more showers in the north bay and San Francisco and the south bay for the monday evening rush hour. Two rounds of showers headed our way. It will be light showers, so were not talking heavy rainfall but where it does rain it will be very heavy and fast and were talking about. 1 inch at most. Heres the forecast for your sunday. San jose up to 70 degrees. 63 for san matteo. And 64 for San Francisco. A good mix of upper 60s, and east bay and trivalley. North bay has the best chance of seeing thunderstorm activity tomorrow.
