In a canyon there. The fire has burned 51 square miles so far. One person was killed in that fire and right now that fire is only 10 contained. It concerns me, i have 500 members that like to know that, we all have dogs, we all go swimming. We all take our boats out every weekend. According to the central county waterboard, swimming in algae infested waters in parts of Discovery Bay should be off limits rise now, because recent tests prove the algae in that area has the potential to produce harmful and sometimes deadly toxins. These toxins can produce both gastrointestinal problems, skin problems and neurological problems. And thats some of the concerns of why we dont want folks to go in the water right now.
