And the person who was shot is still inside. We do know this freeway shooting happened around 8 00. Web state highway 4 was shut down around 9 00 so the chp could conduct their investigation. A car reportedly ran off the highway, through a fence and into the city limits on california street. Police are keeping us a block away so they can do their investigation. Police are trying to figure out what happened here and they are also trying to figure out who will head up the investigation, Pittsburgh Police or the chp. There have been a number of freeway shootings in contra costa county, ten on highway 80, several along highway 4. Moments ago i toke spoke to an activist here in the city of pittsburgh. Wed like for it to stop. This is just getting too rough here. Innocent people can get hurt here. And it just happens too often. Every two months we are having a shooting on the freeway. Apparently there was some sort of argument between two men. The argument escalated and one of them pulled out a pistol and shot at the other one.
