The alleged victims say he ran a cultlike culture that people were discouraged from talking to each other and requested extra sessions at odd times. This afternoon, Morgan Hill Police arrest david outside his gym wolf pak. Hes been booked into jail on ten Sexual Assault related charges including annoying a molesting a child, Sexual Battery by fraud and lewd and lascivious acts on a child. Two women are pressing charges. They want to hide their identities. This is all about control, all about manipulation. But i feel very glad that i somehow was able to fight it. Reporter they say his gym trained athletes for triathlons, running and biking. It was intense, demanding, but then the women say he turned controlling and secretive. He didnt want us having coffee with each other, talking with each other, building friendships amongst each other. He would separate us. If he thought you were getting too close to someone. Reporter Morgan Hill Police investigated wolfsmith for two months. They know of five alleged victims, three adults and two minors. He was able to manipulate a lot of the situations for sexual gratitude or benefit for him. Reporter tonight theres relief among the three women we spoke with that the stories are coming out. They and police hope any other victims will come forward. Theres people that i got to know, and you start sharing like stories. And here we are today. Reporter police say the victims claim the assaults happened between 2013 and 2015. Now, police also say that he was a crosscountry coach for a short time back in 2009 at a high school here in morgan hill. Investigators are also going to be looking into his time there. He was found laying on the sidewalk about a half a block from his oakland home. Cheryl, what do we know right now . Reporter well, Oakland Police say they have very little to go on. Brian boyle, brilliant and outdoorsman was walking home from a local pub after going to a friends party. He almost made it home, but someone shot and killed him right before he got there. Many who live in this oakland neighborhood didnt know why there were flowers and candles at richmond boulevard in oakland. I heard a big boom. Reporter but this woman who doesnt want to show her identity knows exactly why they were put there. And shes still in shock after seeing a man in that spot lying dead in the street early sunday morning. Ran out to try to help him. And saw that he had already passed. There was a gunshot wound in his head. Reporter that man was 30yearold bryan boyle, a Data Scientist in san mateo. Assumed immediately it was some sort of robbery gone bad. But ive since learned he still had his wallet on him. Reporter police are still gathering information about the killing, going door to door tonight. They say they dont have much to go on. The Good Samaritan got some information from friends. He and his roommate were out drinking that night. The roommate left the bar early. Reporter boyle later making the twomile trek on tell egraph avenue to his home. Larry smith has lived in this neighborhood for 22 years. He said its a nice area. But maybe not as safe as it once was. When people get this false sense of safety, i really think theyre a little delusional. When they think it can happen to someone else and not to them. Police sources tell us the condition of nicole fitzs body when it was found in San Francisco is the reason for this additional concern. Fitzs 2yearold daughter hasnt been seen for weeks. Investigators are now expanding the search statewide. The little girls mother was found murdered on friday at mcclaren park. More than a dozen and counting. Police are investigating another freeway shooting in the east bay. Again, its onnists state 80, this time in richmond. The chp tells us shots were fired at a taxicab last night near San Pablo Dam road. Thankfully neither the driver or the two passengers inside that cab were hurt. This was the 17th freeway shooting in contra costa and Alameda County since november. Its the 11th on i80. Investigators believe all the cases are gang related and not random shootings. The manhunt is over. U. S. Marshals captured the suspect wanted for a brutal attack at a house party in orinda. This man was caught on cell phone video after the beating in early february. The victim suffered lifethreatening injuries and is still hospitalized. A team of marshals found mecca in san leandro last wednesday. Hes now charged with attempted murder. Two graduate students today announcing on campus they were harassed by this man, blake wentworth, an assistant professor of asian studies. They say he made inappropriate comments and repeatedly touched them. With a huge crowd surrounding the victims today, the two say they filed complaints with the state and are demanding change. Its been long enough. Im really tired of withholding my education and just i want to go back to school. And i want to feel safe on campus. The university concluded last october that wentworth did violate the Sexual Harassment policy but he has still not been disciplined. A schoolteachers armed with guns. Its happening, effective immediately. A Central Valley high school will allow some of its Staff Members to carry guns. A school board in Fresno County passed a new policy that they hope will ensure the safety of students in case of an active shooter on campus. Up to five Staff Members at Kingsburg High School will be allowed to carry concealed handguns on campus. Though Staff Members must have a california concealed weapons permit and a positive disciplinary record. Take a look. The elmwood jail, leaked memos written in late 2014, those memos warn that the camera Surveillance System at elwood is outdated. And it jeopardizes safety and security. Three hours after we called the Sheriffs Office about the concerns in that memo, a deputy and two other men walked the perimeter of elmwood. You see them there now. They were looking at the old Surveillance System and assessing where the new one should go. The Sheriffs Office insists the assessment was already scheduled and had nothing to do with our ongoing investigation. As we know, bureaucracy is slow. Unfortunately. Its going through the right channels and were trying to go through the appropriate channels. The new Surveillance System should be in place within 90 days. Three women who stepped off a deck in berkeley just seconds before it collapsed are now suing for negligence. The tragedy came last june and claimed the lives of six college students. Three women who survived filed a lawsuit last month against the complexs owners and contractors saying the contractors and owners ignored warning signs that the wooden balcony was severely water damaged during the years before the collapse. An east bay school says its teachings of importance of acceptance, but some parents still kept their middle School Students home for the day. Today was the first weeklong session on lgbt. Some parents didnt let their kids participate in protest of acceptance week, a lesson designed to teach tolerance for the lgbt community. At least three students were kept home by their parents and nearly 170 students simply opted out. It involves videos used during the lessons.
