The planters you see here and he found something suspicious and it turned out to be human bones. Super creepy. Reporter thats the reaction tonight in alamo square regarding the discovery of human bones found in a planter. And he was just gardening. While he was forwardening, he discovered some bones. He wasnt sure what to make of the bones but they did appear to be of human remains. Reporter the medical examiner confirmed the bones were human. Nbc bay area obtained this video from a man who lives nearby showing detectives sifting through the area where the bones were found. Cadaver dogs were brought in to help in the investigation. We know they are human remains. As far as whether or not they are remains of a child or adult thats going to be determined later on. Reporter that determination can take weeks or months. Time is of the essence when it comes to human remains. The question is when did it happen and how long were the bones in there. Trying to find witnesses or people in the neighborhood who may have seen something. Reporter that has people who live in the area worried. At this point the discovery is so out of the ordinary they dont know what to think. Its weird to think there is a part of a human jaw in the planter. While police are trying to uncover a motive here, people in th this quiet neighborhood are stunned. We heard that lisa went to arizona to take a job there. We knew her mother was early. We assumed the mother went with her. Reporter she is 58 and heavy set and could be armed and dangerous. The Santa Clara Sheriffs Office says the people in this video recently robbed an ulta store. We have exclusive details about a suspected terrorist jailed in Santa Clara County. It was all kept a secret until now. The man was on the run from the law but caught in the south bay. Heres his picture. He is one of six people accused of supplying money and equipment to fighters from terrorist organizations. He fled the midwest before his indictment but was traced to Santa Clara County and captured. The county board president says he has been kept posted and said that state law allows the county to keep terrorist interaction private for the communitys safety. From the Swimming Pool to the courtroom. A High School Water polo player is accused of dirty play during a match. The 15yearold is facing felony assault and battery charges for allegedly striking an opponent and breaking his nose during the game. No settlement in a lawsuit between former neighbors over a child with autism. A visiting santa claus comes with controversy. A kindergarten class trip is called off because of a surgeoned mom. Every year students at this Elementary School take a field trip to see santa at a coffee shop. But this year the trip was cancelled after the mother of a jewish student was concerned. The cloudiest are napa and santa rosa. And temperatures reflecting cooler numbers because of it. 55 expected in santa rosa. In the east bay, walnut creek, 56. And this will push down to the south bay with lingering wet water through 1 30. Spotty showers saturday morning but most of saturday will be dry. Look for the next system to arrive sunday evening.
