Investigators say a man armed with multiple weapons opens fire at a Jewish Community center. Several shots were fired at that location and witnesses state that had the suspect left the location soon after. Several minutes later, we received a call from a second location of shots fired. The shooting spree aparent parentally started. There were people ducking down and yelling at us to get inside. A man in his 70s is being held by police, someone they describe as a person of interest. We have a suspect. And we began cautioning everybody to understand suspects are not convicted. Suspects are people of interest. New at 11 00, a plane heading from chicago to sa sacramento made an emergency landing. That i said he was incoherent and wanted to jump out of the plane. Passengers were able to subdue him. The rest of the passengers were eventually flown onto sacramento. In berkley, fire fighter investigators are back on the scene. It started around 8 00 last night and wasnt under control until 1 00 this morning. At first, it was about 4 feet of fire out of the top of the building. And then by the time i left, it was 50 foot flames. I could feel the heat coming off the top of the building. It was a very intense fire. Four businesses were destroyed, including the wooden dutch shop selling handmade wooden furniture. Damages could be as high as 8 million. Chances are, youll find some of that across the san mateo bridge for tomorrow morning. You see, again, those locations looking at the fog for tomorrow morning. What were going to get will be those low clouds starting to break up. This will lead to temperatures starting to climb on up. What i think were going to get will be those highs towards the low 80s. And everyone the north bay could see those temperatures climb close to 80 for the sea breeze tomorrow night. So right now, winds are on shore. Theres going to be a battle playing out for our weather overnight. Winds beginning to shift direction out of the northeast. Thats going to lead to warm temperatures for one more day. Tomorrow morning, areas of low clouds forming around san francisco. Locally across the central bay. And then sunshine and more clouds start to spill in as we head into tomorrow night as the weather pattern change starts to develop during the day going from High Pressure to one more day of warm weather. Today, a survivor spoke sout about what happened. The 18yearold man is still recovering from burns to his face and body. And he spoke to us from his hospital bed. Miles hill has awoken from the same dream. After closing my eyes rgs all i could see is fire. And i could hear the screams of people who were burning alive. And as a survivor, its hard not to go back in time and remember all of the ways that the accident skould have been prevented. Our bus was late. It was an hour late. We were supposed to leave at 6 30. All of the buss were supposed to leave at 6 30. Miles said earlier in the trip, the bus had been involved in another small accident that led them to be in the wrong place at the exact wrong time. If that really hadnt happened, then the really bad accident wouldnt have happened. And finally, when the moment did arrive, he watched from right behind the seat of the driver. He had time to move out of the way, but he was in shock and that prevented him from moving the wheel. Like other witnesses, miles disputes account tlas the fedex truck was on fire before the crash. It exploded upon impact. Tonight, there are things he wishes he never would have seen. After spending nine hours getting to know other students and chaperons who lost their lives. And i watched him on fire before i kicked out the window. And then there were two, michael and mad lynn, they were engaged and died on impact and i saw that happen. This shows two men attacked by proseparatist protesters. With the ukraine government deadline now rapidly approaching, ukraines violent turmoil may be far from over. If it does move in and try to retake some of these buildings, it runs the risk of provoking russia into a military intervention inside ukraine. If it stands by and does nothing, it can continue to see more separatist militias take control of government buildings. Tonight, there is bipartisan agreement that russian president putin is behind the escalating crisis in ukraine. In congress, some are calling for weapons shipments to ukraine. The president has made clear that banking mining could be on the table and theres a lot in between. We are ought to at least, for god sake, give them Light Weapons with which to defend themselves.
