It was that close. Reporter joe and bonny were heading home to a small town south of seattle when they say they saw the fedex truck heading toward them. They say the truck was in flames before it sideswiped their rental cars. It was already in flames. It was already in flames, yeah. It wasnt coming from the front or engine but more behind the cab. Reporter they say the truck hit their car, they barely avoided a headon collision. It looked like a 3d movie. Like this thing was coming out of the movie at you. You think im dead. When it swiped us, it felt like we floated, we kind of floated off to the ditch over there, about 20 feet off. We looked at each other and literally at the same time we go were alive. Reporter he and his wife of 32 years climbed over the seat to get out of the car. Tay were both in shock but managed to take pictures of the crash that happened seconds before they were hit. We started to hear about the kids that didnt make it out of that thing and that thats bad. Thats just really bad. Why did we make it and they dont . I dont know.
