The National Weather service says two of them touched down in kansas yesterday. This one formed right next to a rainbow. Hail was falling and the rain was apparently coming downside ways there. It was a downpour that caused major flooding over in missouri. An auto center got 2 feet of water inside of just 40 minutes. Elsewhere windchill damage caused by baseballsized hail. From the air you can see the devastation to building and power lines. Its all leading to a big day ahead. Nbc meteorologist bill karins is here to tell us whats next. A lot. Flash flooding hail wind damage. The question is how many tornadoes will it deal with . Yesterday 10 reports of tornadoes, a beautiful picture. It was over a farmers field. It wasnt doing any damage southern portion of kansas. In all we had about 300 storm reports. A lot of those were large hail. In missouri we had one report of a 4 inch chunk of ice that fell from the sky. Thats a softball falling from the sky. Theres a lot of rain not too much Severe Weather. St. Louis, you had a lot of bad storms and flooding as of late. As of this morning, you were dealing with a storm right over the top of you with a lot of active lightning. Later on this afternoon, a new round of storms. This is where well have more problems out there. This area of yellow is where were dealing with slight risk enhanced risk, illinois indiana, chicago, including st. Louis and memphis. We should see a few tornadoes out of this. Maybe one or two could be strong. Those are the ones typically the most deadly. Those are the ones we want to avoid. Hopefully well get lucky like we did yesterday. Thanks for that film.
