Let's see it was that it's a card retreat. And I had a little useless information I was curious as to what the rate of police line of duty death was compared to military line of duty death Here's what they found out there are approximately 1000000 429000 military active duty personnel on this day in 201711 active duty military personnel been killed in combat related incidents so far this year there are practically 765. And sworn officers in the u.s. On this day in 2000. Point $9.97 police officers have been killed in line to duty so this far this means that police officers are more than 16 times more likely to be killed while conducting normal duties than military personnel on this day in 2017 it's not to say the military's he who the police have hired says him play a fact that our country is losing its grip this is the opinion of the author I have no doubt the numbers are rising because of the training hate toward police based off an educated biased opinions generated by clips the media force it down your throat that only show you or sure of the altercation Yes there are some bad cops out there it's inevitable just don't grow your of them all together that's the same premise racism is based on the same thing you're protesting it get. Just for my own personal. Opinion I liked it like the clue that I support all military police 1st responders D.M.'s dispatch personnel and let's see we've got some other things here. Governor round has a few things 8569 outlawing codes of conduct related to abortion and sexual behavior. This basically limits your freedom of religion which I wrote a letter to the go on or about and we've got a couple other things here one of a couple of questions were asked at the say cock is there a potential impact on federal funding for jurisdictions that choose to allow the sale of cannabis for adult use that people think we aren't really trying to do anything on this we're trying to adapt to it or regulation and it is just like Chase and Mercury cross table or jurisdictions that ban the sale of the don't use cannabis How do they prevent the negative impacts from neighboring jurisdiction that do allow sales zoning consideration code enforcement cost increase law enforcement response and what is the status of bureau cannabis control one of the 1st regulations expected roll out when is the entire framework expected to be completed when Will licenses be issued how can you think access to Canada's control those are questions that we ask we are asking at stake hog right now so please understand that we were not really. Ignoring you although sometimes it does seem that way but you know we're going to we're going to have hopefully it here that I can put on the I'm getting tired let's see we'll have Trump on Vegas Ok that should be our next situation here let's see if I can get this up here because we have a new board operator meet meet Will. By the grace of healing and may God provide the grieving families with the strength to carry on thank you God Bless America thank you. Well you know God Thank you my fellow Americans we are joined together today in said Miss shock and grief last night a gunman opened fire on a large crowd at a country music concert in Las Vegas Nevada. He brutally murdered more than 50 people and wounded hundreds more it was an act of pure evil the f.b.i. And the Department of Homeland Security are working closely with local authorities to assist with the investigation and they will provide updates as to the investigation and how it develops I want to thank the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and all of the 1st responders for their courageous efforts and for helping to save the lives of so many the speed with which they acted is miraculous and prevented further loss of life to have found the shooter so quickly after the 1st shots were fired is something for which we will always be thankful and grateful it shows what true professionalism is all about hundreds of our fellow citizens are now mourning the sudden loss of a loved one a parent a child a brother or sister. We cannot fathom their pain we cannot imagine their loss to the families of the victims we are praying for you and we are here for you and we ask God to help see you through this very dark period Scripture teaches us the Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit we seek comfort in those words for we know that God lives in the hearts of those who grieve to the wounded who are now recovering in hospitals we are praying for your full and speedy recovery and pledge to you our support from this day forward in memory of the fallen I have directed that our great flag be flown at half staff. I will be visiting Las Vegas on Wednesday to meet with law enforcement 1st responders and the families of the victims in moments of tragedy and. America comes together as one and it always has we call upon the bonds that unite us our faith our family and our shared values we call upon the bonds of citizenship the ties of community and the comfort of our common humanity our unity cannot be shattered by evil our bonds can not be broken by violence and though we feel such great anger at the senseless murder of our fellow citizens it is our love that defines us today and always will for ever. In time such as these I know we are searching for some kind of meaning in the chaos some kind of light in the darkness the answers do not come easy but we can take solace knowing that even the darkest space can be brightened by a single light and even the most terrible despair can be eliminated by a single ray of hope. Malani and I are praying for every American who has been hurt wounded or lost the ones they love so dearly in this terrible terrible attack we pray for the entire nation to find unity and peace and we pray for the day when evil is baddish and the innocent are safe from hatred and from fear may God bless the souls of the lives that are lost May God give us the grace of healing and may God provide the grieving families with the strength to carry on thank you God Bless America thank you. Is this any bass Chris coming to you a high atop Mt Huth we have Mike Leahy in the in the. Studio and Little does he know what he walked into but you know he's We've already exposed him to some of the chaos behind the mike and we're we're going to subject him to the the radio. Inquiry. We get the thumbscrews out later Mike say hello here are you going to have to get close to the mike there actually tip it up because the now the other way now the actual thing is right on the edge here go ahead Mike say hello. Can you hear me. Just barely You need to get close to that microphone can you are we talking. Ok I don't really hear you that well so you're going to have to almost kissed the mike here and if not I guess we're going to have to go up to that red one and let the I don't know if they'll do it anyway. Let's go to. Yeah I can hear that so why don't you. Speak into that Mike and we'll see what it works like Good morning Andy good morning hey I found the adjustment here is not color coded That's right. Yeah you have to admit this is a great great great day because you take the most person who doesn't even like computers and you have him roaming around the whole back room board and everything that's that's me but anyhow Michael a little history is my clay have set the. Previous supervisor in in a pretty pretty big way there and. We haven't had him on the radio and who knows of what Mike Leahy is all about I kind of talk to him we don't always agree but apparently you know our board seems to be working to get close to your mike there so if you make any comments we can actually capture those things and record of men and black men who are with them later but. We we don't may not agree with everything but I think our our board as a new board with the with a new direction and it seems that we're all working toward the same goal I don't know tell me what you think about that just a little little statement for her I think you're close to spot on just because we don't always agree on everything I'm the one that would be the would actually. Come out and say what people are thinking well we noticed that about. You know it's interesting preconceived opinions uncontaminated right practical experience common sense is a phrase that I use to describe you know some of the politicians and the current hurt to arena but you know I just learned more things about an individual the more you sit on the board with them the more you discuss things with them and I think we're working out well Gary doing a great. Doug loft and he's a. He's a gem he's a g.m. But well why don't you give us a little rundown on Mike Leahy because you know when when you look at him and talk to him you kind of don't really see still waters run deep when she wants to go. A little little history of Mike Lee thanks Sam you don't give me this I was born I went to junior high. I was raised in the Bay Area. And the best in Steve Martin said. Yes born of poor black she said I was born in Port locked up that wasn't me. I was born in the Bay Area we was raised down there and one day after a while me and my wife were headed towards one of those days where you just didn't know what you wanted to do so we'd actually head north on a road trip and we ended up coming up over a little bridge and tunnel as a little town and everybody was doing something different than they didn't know where I lived and they were all smiling and it was a they were friendly. You know I said I looked I was and that was the 1st time I'd seen a town that was smiling and friendly and what did you miss the boat on that one Yeah well I don't think so but but but there was a big parade that day and we walked it we walked in we got a big donor that was back from Scott's bakery Yeah you know it was interesting you know. Got you going to be one of those I got a private thing out of you know you know it's just your background is different than most you know or did you tell us a little bit interesting thing is that when supervisors have previous successes in in in the civilian world and businesses This seems that they are more efficient at what they do we hired the diocese as a supervisors that. Give us a background on where you know business wise where you come from well where you going well there you go you know if anybody if nobody sets a vision or a goal they're always guaranteed to hit it because it's just one of those natural things you know one of the things for me is when the in the back in the business area that I used to be and I would do I would do with leadership training or financial education and that was always I was always something good to improve the people I worked with lives so it started out as a purpose like that it wasn't always that way I once I started out in the job field as a plumber you know and you know that they have different names for it but I was a plumber and went to apprenticeship school and finished that became a plumber and then went to the admin and. You're kidding you're a bar yeah I'm going to circle the aisle he's been Portman Well probably 16 years. Press Yeah that's you know. That's not an easy profession as much people like to always you know it's always easier if you don't have to do it. It always is but but it's just typical story of you know how the landscapers your is always the worst Ok . Where you actually Paul Paul that was city a lot of that lot of the work was done Sacramento I worked in a lot of high rises actually a couple years every It would take a couple years to build a high or as I was I specialized in water systems. And designing water systems so it it really is interesting and then after a while I decided that this is good but it would be nice to actually not work as hard so they're going to. And then I got into the safety the safety part of it and I took a lot of OSHA courses I like education and like education because it improves my mind and my mindset or you're involved with the safety aspect of plumbing industry or just just OSHA regulations and construction No actually it was a OSHA it was plumbing it was I became a safety manager for the 2nd biggest public company in the United States and I would travel and I would go to meetings and do a lot stuff and train people. And it one point I decided to I'd like to live and work closer to home so I ended up. And up working in an Internet company and that was a strange event how that happened yeah yeah I had a surgery on my knee you know because and when you're when you have a surgery and you have a surgery you have to rehab and a friend of mine brought me over computer you know and. An action of a computer he brought me over the software to get on the Internet at that time the internet was. It was old like chicken but it was motives back in the old. 9600 baud modem times where you'd hear that. Big of a weird noise and you get online and online actually just meant looking into I mean one day we had graphics and it took about 15 minutes load nobody goes around of the computer it was like check it out there's graphics it's a picture we were going to do stuff now it's you know kids today don't know the history of actually what happened prior to Internet you know all right they're all spoiled by d.s.l. Are Comcast you know well so then I started in playing with that and doing a little education and learning about that and I ended up designing a website or web page and I built the world's ugliest web page it was it was once you don't scroll forever it was just really really just it was like Fred Flintstone website and. The guy who this is kind of an ironic the guy who brought me the Internet stuff and came back and checked it out he was all my God how do you do that and I told him it was pretty easy you just get this certain way the next thing I knew he was well you need to get out of the office and I went and hung up the office and I stayed at the Internet office that are you in an election which really caught 6 but I stayed there for long enough that I never let 6 yeah wow and I started selling websites web design and other. And then the next day I was my 1st entered it knew every city right right lot of people there's a lot of met a lot of people and then I became their Eventually I became their their their sales manager Wow and I got an office there and I was on the staff and I was there for about 7 years and I learned a lot and I learned a lot and it was really exciting because it allowed us to think outside of what we call the box. If there if we had an idea and we started laughing about it then we'd implement it and it would work well and that was pretty much to let the learn that was how we were learning but as we were thinking bigger and bigger pro-business we said all right you just mentioned d.s.l. And you just mentioned Comcast well at the time 6 that Com was the only really big thing around here there was there was exceeded there was I don't know I was there and I had Andy at 6 dot com Yeah I was Mike it's expected. That he but but the problem with that is I didn't realize there's a lot of spam associated with it so what basically went on as we said we got a great idea we started selling what they call. Back hall. Which is. T one lines t 3 and we would Samba large companies. And it was really interesting that's what that was one of the things I did and well we said well you know what we can you know 12 and bring it to us City and then we'd have the best Internet in the state and that's what was that was going on and 6 dot com People didn't realize it in 1960 com was a mover and it was well recognized it was well recognized as like the only place to come if you're going to buy an Internet home that's the backbone that was right right before I moved there and that's exciting that's that you are you're at the cutting edge I mean yeah so we had a few challenges and I for I built all those websites we started a company called This is a really kind of strange mythical banner doods and this company was it was the world's 1st search engine optimization company I didn't even call it that back then but we used to get people listed on the on the search engines back then. Which is ironic because. Later on. One of the sale one of the one of the jobs I had was to meet the public when they had questions about selling or buying back all or internet services and a couple of young interview individuals walked in with the older individual and I remember him specifically because. Because one had a slight accent and they asked me if I can get for o.c. Twelve's at Moffett Field and I was like well yeah but that's kind of pricey and I want to talk to the ownership and Dave goes well I think Dave goes I don't think we can handle that when his little big bigot are there for it are they for real and you know what you mention or preconceived notions and seek what happens is preconceived notions as if if I was selling the cars or whatever I was doing and the guy walked up with sandals and shorts you think I was this guy well I couldn't make the sale for what they needed and I told him that but I said I really like you guys so I'm going to take and give you my business plan for my my search engine company and I printed it out and this is how things were done back in the Internet was to help people out it wasn't about everything profiteering and making money. And there's nothing wrong with making money I know there's nothing wrong with it but I wasn't focused focused on it for that moment for some reason and then so we went out to lunch the guys the guy says well we're going to buy your lunch and you can if you're going to give us that for for a I think it was a sandwich I sold a business a business plan that these guys left with you know it wasn't a couple years later that my friend goes Hey Mike how much did you get for the business plan you wrote this is what he says go on that go on this website look who's using it and they had a weird no name of a company and it was Google and it was the founders of Google they came to us city looking for their services to be provided from Yuba City company. I mean the local human sort or areas that's the way it really is that's how we interacted. But the sad part is there's that one missed that one yeah. You know I think I think back on looking at the stock for her Google Facebook all that stuff you know I just I was sitting on the sidelines watching the world go by I didn't realize you know but I think we all did that Apple was at $25.00 a share Yeah and I had 20 grand just just sold a bunch of a chip equipment to p.g. And e. And they give me a 20 grand commission check and I turned that into like $50.00 after the crash you know many people did. So so you get involved in. The Internet in its early stages in search engines so yeah so every so every every week I would get a phone call hey your business is be listed on Google and I was like Come on stop it I left the industry because of that practice I couldn't I couldn't be predatory and so so finding funding that you like to live by principles was pretty tough Well well it's you know making money is not a bad principle to have you know it is the 1st person you have to take care of in life to me is yourself I believe I believe the man in the glass if you can't take care of yourself you sure can help other people that is too true and that's exactly why when you're on an airplane the lady says the oxygen mask comes down in front of you put yours on 1st before you help other people and this is crazy but it's life but that actually is an interstate way of putting a life itself. So so what's crazy about me is I I was always I was born and raised and you know a family of Democrats I mean let's go right to the cart of this thing. And then as I did all the way business up here I became the I was just that way to be stubborn . You know and then before I before I decided to run it was. I was reading the newspaper and I found myself in a spot were saying wow there's there's an opening on the city council and I'm going to go ahead and try to make a difference and so I did I went and applied for and of course I didn't win we didn't get the selection from the committee but the committee did give me a plenty commissioner position in Marysville and that exposed me to the ferry 1st being on a diet ever. And it was like this was interesting Oh. Yes Gene Pool sort of shallow and that neck of the woods and you been looking for. Some. Fire breathers for possibly the upcoming 2018 Well it's interesting it's an interesting topic because we do look we look for people who want to make a difference and who can actually understand. The role of the thinking that you know that not everything is free and we must look to the future and set a vision if we don't set a vision it's kind of like our board if we don't have a combined vision of where we want to go we're guaranteed not to get there yeah you know and we're developing a different vision at this point you know I was say CAGR a tree and it just hit me. That I'm sitting there listening to all these people talking about successes and in different communities and. Business leaders there and all that stuff that we were never really exposed as a board because of our membership their person in say cogged never brought in this stuff to us and they have they have a depth of services that the. Well the greatest gatherers of of data is say caught an eye for transportation they deal with i.t. On and on and on a level that we don't even approach here and and we could utilize their services I was talking to. James Corliss who's the the new c.e.o. And and and they have this retreat and they had why should you belong to say cock and I hope I didn't mean to interrupt you but yeah I did but the. The the amount of. Consultants that we could utilize there is just amazing they've got they've got 30 or 40 people there who specialize in things like transit you know I mean that we narrowed down the biggest problem we have been it as a county is the 2 corks that both thins we have we have a 4 lane freeway narrowing down to a 2 lane gone through Wheatland and then we have a a 4 lane traffic jam going I don't know how many 68 turns before it gets from point a to point b. Out of Marysville there's got to be cheese at the other side of that railroad thing because and. We're talking about winding 70 and. That's that would be the greatest thing that ever happened to this community but we can't go through Marysville we've got to have America's full bypass and the person there didn't even you know he kind of set the corner while you know I said hey we learned bypass Marysville bypass have to happen before but anyhow back back to Mr Leahy Ok what I want to find out what your 1st impression about stepping into that office . Is that what. She shocks me ask run for office it'll be fun they said yeah you know I said it was. The government I'm here to help this right the most dangerous region in the world or I'm from the government I'm here to help you know what I found was. So many more different things and the very 1st exposure of the very 1st exposure I thought well it's Ok you have that and you know if you think about what does a county supervisor do. Attorneys reviser has varying roles and then there's all the committees that just you don't just participate on seekers if you just participate and go you have a situation and you just mentioned were you know we could have a but by Pastor Marysville you know right now that we can bypass is being actively worked on Burke spending the road there and we're working with that with the j.p. With and that's that's progress of ideas moving forward. And but every little thing as to edge to edge to really Yeah but you know what I found out is is is with the 3 new board members it has seemed that there's there's more accomplished in the past 10 months then happened in years. The other side. You know one thing I noticed about you it is you you picked up right up on the Amazon thing and you know I'm not a Rhodes Scholar but. You know you never go to the seashore for gold you know and never go to Colonel Sanders for sushi if Amazon is opening a. The syllabi and you have $4000.00 jobs I think it's $4000.00 jobs out there and they're about that well any rate now there's $70000.00 jobs of Amazon in California and of those $70000.00 most of them are in just distribution so and so what we've brought that up I haven't really talked to put it in public because it's really I don't like to talk about what made come I really like play poker and say Ok here's what we got Yeah so right now we're trying for we're a part of Greater Sacramento Economic Development Corporation and I'm very active in that I'm so active in that I'm there every couple weeks every week but Amazon has is built a facility by the airport and they're trying to staff it at this point in time is that correct they're working on it now and so what we're looking at is what we're looking at right now was they are in the middle of bidding out their private what they call their their headquarters to which will include $50000.00 new jobs Yeah and that's the other cherry that they want to stay well rise on well it's nice but that what they're looking for I've got they are fee and they're looking for a community that is a positive community for their employees to raise their families in and I don't know about you but I think you look you know you could be that. Well I think we can in can we are and we might make it but I think you know I just for the life of me you cannot I mean it's like you've got a surgical not in the intestine Yuba County tied right there at the East Bridge and at the railroad tracks you know you can't go there with any speed. And until they get a bypass now you know I've had I've had people compare it to Grass Valley and all that stuff well scuse me I'm not a Rhodes Scholar but maybe you ought to drive through Grass Valley one day and see that thing it's probably about 4 lanes wide It's called 49 and it does not require you to run a maze through the center of town. Or absolutely any one of the things or the things of the the the the quaintness of actually I mean if we're going to you know you can't is much more than just Marysville or the foothills or. You County there's there's there's Linda there's all versus Westland there's a lot of places there's actually the rules section down there know where the the empathy that are in all those places are very viable places to improve as long as you do it within reason. Because people do like the lifestyle we have and the are and you've already noted that the argued fight to keep it. Well they will but you know they you know you cannot control a area with 5 farmers and that's what was what was done and and that's another story for us to go through but we're working with with we've learned right now where their city council are j p a for the the transit area and they've got 15 her need to help it's such a good job on planning the future for Wheatley. Well I think that's a 1st place to grow Well that's exactly what I was talking about earlier when you have a plan for growth where you have a vision you set a plan and you can follow it. If you have a if you let's just put this let me maybe we can understand a little a little bit simpler if. If me and my wife have no plan or no goal we're always going to hit it in business if you if you don't if you don't have a goal and how and then you just and then there we're down to the very 1st question you asked me was what was my impression of the board and take you don't take taking over the position. I can't I can't live in a reactive mode I can't be reactive governments Ok In other words when something comes up we can't just react to the can down the road and call it good we have to find a solution that's going to work for my kids for my grandkids and then and then when we do that it might take a little bit more work but we only deal with it once it's not like putting a Band-Aid on a bullet hole Well the general plan I was the only one to voted against it because it vision statement should have said in a land far far away because now the figures were accurate you know and to me you know people say well we need it we need a vision Well how do you get there and they said what do you mean well where are we at and where are we going those 2 areas have to be to find you have to know where your starting point is and that's one thing that we haven't done as a board we might look to make modifications for that. That the strategic plan that we have well is one we don't talk about it with another supervisor live live we could it would be I understand this is this not violation of our own act it's you know the. Second most frustrating thing about being the county supervisor is you have to follow the laws see I think I raise my hand. Now any left but I raise my hand and people people watch but people should know as I raise my hand and oath to follow the laws of the Constitution of California and states. And that means I will follow the laws even if I don't like them so it's interesting it's interesting to do so but when we when we go down that path if it's a really interesting question mark when you find out that the reactionary governance without a vision or a real plan is what led us to stay we're at maybe that's why we're getting more a little bit excited a little bit more activity well. The. Getting back to Amazon your impression of our reaction to the possibility of having jobs out there now one of the concerns that every company coming to Sacramento. Is where my going to live well guess what. We are ready made to be come this the San Fernando Valley and people say well I want to be populated but all it took 40 years to get that way people you know it didn't happen overnight you know the problem we have of people today is they they're here they did stick gratification and they figure that we're going to have we're going to have Smaug people out there overnight and it take it took 40 years to get that valley developed I mean when I grew up there in the fifty's late fifty's and sixty's there were or new girls in there and that was 10 years of development and they still it was a rural area but absolutely the rural the people would like that not in my backyard a mentality and that none of my backyard mentality is great because you know what we do love arse our culture here but this is something you've got to be reminded of and this is another thing people can say I'm too philosophical sometimes there are never complaints in victory. So during a victory there's no complaints you know if you remember that it's your think about that your personal life every time you win something and you know you know you're not picking it apart and blaming people and and so what if we stay stagnant Well here's what we get we got I mean our perfect perfect example is look at the years and years and years of this stablish meant leadership in a specific city you know and it just went down and down and down yeah and then it takes it takes somebody to come in and say wait a minute we need to change make some changes on how we think again back to the gene pool they'll say. You know it's just that we're going to we're going we've got about. 3 minutes here to take a break but. Getting back to your 1st. Week or 2 on the board you looked at all those committees would you say oh please use me well actually there was there was a sack was one of the committees I got to look at other was different committees and I knew which ones I wanted. And this is kind of weird to say that I want to participate on this one this one this one you know will be in the freshman of the rookie I didn't get any of the ones I want I'm coming. Up there is I mean the chairperson said no you're going to get this business I said so we had a meeting Yeah and I got one more than I had that I had before so it was interesting and I learned I told him one point like I said look it's Ok I have patience Mike. Trust me we were a little leery about how things are going to work out there you're brand new to a board. You know we had no at Randy's pretty sharp you know I mean we've got I have I'm impressed with the board Well so much and that was my point is is I can understand also that not knowing who somebody is you would be a little bit skeptical like what this guy coming in because if you if you really listen to who I was because perceptions are people's knowledge Ok so perception was I'm the pot guy Ok in that and if you think if you ask me in the community always the commercial cannabis guy and which is not true I happen to be an advocate for patients' rights you know but I took the I wouldn't be in the commercial but I'm truly impressed with your restraint. On the board on that subject I have I really appreciate you're you're you're not. Going overboard with a lot of it's is something that we consider we were concerned about at that point time but you you have a logical approach you have a controlled approach you're not a hair on fire guy like me that runs for the 3rd all but. Yeah we do appreciate Well it does help to sit next to a guy that you so wish were not me don't go into the weeds Mike and we did You don't you don't and you mean that on any topic it doesn't have to be about that topic I mean because if the scientists came before that was I was probably one of the 1st ones I was like Are you kidding me. And just came in and said Oh we're sorry we need you to cut down more trees I said Aren't you the ones that advocated for the spotted owl and told us to stop cutting down trees and they said yes and you said get out of the way yeah well you know I I've tried for probably 10 years to get one of those packages a spotted owl help or. Like your friendly hamburger helper but I have been able to get that but you know that. We are truly impressed with with the change in the board and. I think Doug last time was this a great benefit to our community you know the history of the what Linda water plant and I mean when I 1st was it was a point in 2009 I went into his office and he says Here I'll show you the latest a roll of plans out he said this is the 1st shovel ready project you know because Obama's gone and a shell ready project but we're the 1st shovel ready project to get a check cleared. And that's how we ended up with the thing but that was all through Doug loft and guidance and you know ability to manage and plan ahead and you know he's. Been that way and Gary. I t. Knowledge is that boggles my mind on how did you do then I've been here 3 years and I have it well that not many people know but right now 2 out of 5 board members are paperless and that means that we don't get any paper agendas or anything like that we have to do everything like the off field I know and that's why I'm That's why I mention the 1st thing I did when we got when I got here today was you know it's nice to see anyone having to work the board into computers because he's forced into technology. I'm really happy with being on the board and I think the one of the most rewarding things I've already done was get to interact with Marysville high school senior class. I have phenomenal things that you get to see about your community we have great people here we have and there that might well there's also there's also one more thing there's one more of the project that's on the plate right now is that they use Center for the community center over by the busker but right by the bridge Yeah that's the Allison Scott Well Scott Yeah you know that the story behind Allen's got to enter I remember when she was in the hot dog junction right that's how it started Yeah and but Karen copped it was involved in that and so many people were involved in creating that Alan Scott and it's just we need strong leaders to get involved with that that's one thing in Marysville it's difficult to find somebody you want to get that well I'm actually working with the current board right now and I'm I haven't taken a board position but I'm working with the current board as a guy as a visor and working on we the on the funding and then we have a meek little thing they're considering merging with the Yuba County seniors because the seniors are going to be are going to be homeless in December there's a reason and a purpose for everything there's a story behind the you county. That will well get to it a little bit but I think I'm going to have to cut here and do a station I.D.'s so bear with me and see if I can do this without blowing things. With. Well I didn't work very well. You're listening to. Me I'm the Patriot There you go. That's our station idea 1410 am the Patriots 742-5555 you want to talk to Mike I don't know if I can patch the phone calls through it. We're going to we're going to do that no I've got I've got a little break here we're going to give give Mike a break Ken and we're going to have. A little. Paul Harvey Harvey the Hari so say Harvey Steve Harvey heard the rest of the story Yes Well Ok well you know we're straight into Paul Harvey I think so. I'm sure some do you. Want to tell you something that every successful person has to do including. Believe it or not every successful person in this world as John. I want to tell you what I mean by that you're eventually you're going to have to just you cannot just exist in this life you have got to try to. If you're waking up thinking that it's got to be more to your life to. Believe that he does believe in your heart of hearts to.
