Theyre all for more access to contraception for women. But they do not think the pharmacist is the right person there. It puts another person, another barrier between a woman and that Birth Control. This is right in your what do you want women to know . I think were facing a developing crisis in Womens Health care. For those paying attention, we have seen a dialing back in a lot of recommendations. Pap smears, pelvic exams, mammograms, now this. I think ultimately that has a real risk of jeopardizing Womens Health, not improving it. I would encourage women to uncouple their regular yearly gyn exam. It will be more sustainable. Thats the key. We keep talking about sugar. We have it in our diet. We have too much of it. Thats the biggest problem. Tip number three. We really want to focus on this. Start i want to say dont eliminate sugar. Start reducing sugar in our diet by just try removing a soda a day or some kind of sweetened juice a day. By removing one soda a day, were taking almost 1 1 2 cups out of our diet of sugar every single week. Over five cups a month. Thats just by eliminating one . Yes. And its reek wreaking havoc on our body. Instead, substitute with a sweetened water. You need the sweetener in the water. I do. Im a normal person. I hate drinking regular water. I love to have my water sweetened. Guilty as charged. But its good for you. Salt. Its in places we dont think it is. In the average american diet, it has twice as much sodium as our bodies really need. We need to reduce the salt. Cured meats, lunch meats. Highsodium deli meats. Canned soups. Lets just get em out of our diet. We dont even need them. Salt, lets toss the salt shaker. Replace it with a lowsodium, saltfree seasoning. Why do you have this bag packed and ready to go . Whats up with that . Prepare for success. The night before, lay out the gym clothes, the gym bag. Get it ready. Get all the stuff together, ready to go. I go, who is playing the the grandfather . They said, you. I said, oh, okay. Who is going believe that im a grandfather. Everyone. So youre playing against type. Youre not a playboy. What do you have in common with him . Again, like i try to find what is silly about these guys. And these type of characters, if you pull the curtain behind, theyre just as insecure and lonely and scared. Jimmy wants to be a good father and a good grandfather and eventually a boyfriend. One of the things i have learned from al, as a mom and as a career person, as a spouse, i need to cut myself some slack. As women, were so hard on ourselves. We want to do it perfectly. The best quote about being a dad, i actually heard years ago from roseanne barr. She said, at the end of the day, if the kids are asleep and theres no internal bleeding, ive done my job. You know . Reporter in the world of he said, she said, should you wear matching outfits to events . No, absolutely not. Lets define matching outfits. Its not like were wearing matching hawaiian shirts. If were at a formal event, deborah may have a gown with a predominant color. I may pick out a tie that accents that color. Its fine. Its annoying. Its fine. Reporter driving. We live in new york city. I just zip ahead. Yeah, well. I believe in allowing space. And i believe you know what . Im going to get there. Im not in that great a hurry. You must have been exhausted by the time you left our house. Most people are. Hes hilarious. And i just love that youre just so beautifully open and honest with each other. So many couples relate. Theyre very different or they approach life differently. At the end of the day, you come together, you find the common ground. We talk about the difficulties, the challenges. If you can laugh about it. I cant relate to how nice you are about the differences in driving. Well, we were nice for lara. Were not usually that nice in the car.
