You can see that on the over all map. A lot of green out there. Marker indicating a big hole that has developed on monaco. Its caused some issues for you your car tire. This section long section of i 70 remains closed down. All the way to Glenwood Springs for a second rock slide that happened. Weve had two rock slides up in that area. This is a picture of one of the boulders from the over night area. This is from cd. O. T. That i was able to get from one of their accounts. You can see how big that rock is from that person standing there. I understand that maybe a truck was hit by that rock. These are some of the rocks that came down in the earlier rock slide during the day yesterday morning. Had lanes. So they are worried about the stability of the rocks up there on that slope. and that is why i70 remains closed down. And a long slow commute. A four hour delay to get around it. Jason, thank you. 6 02 now. Boulddr neighbors are stuck cleaning up after a soggy and muddy mess. All that water was rushing into their houses. This is all thanks tt a massive water main break. The sun was out, it was blue sky. That is when neiihbors look outside and see thousands of gallons of water going down their street, quite the surprise. What it left behind is things like this. This is actually some of the mulch and dirt and landscaping that is supposed to be here. As you can see, its no longer here. It all got washed into tte road 3 along with a lot of dirt and debris and issues. You can still see some of the down there. It was about a few thousand gallons that started pumping into as a result of that water main break here in north boulder. You can see it just rushing down the street through the backyard. You can acttally see some of the current of that as it goes around fences and things like that. Crews were out here from boulder public works for several hours over night to try to patch that up and get it fixed. About a dozen homes were impacted. Not a lot of major damage but there was water in a lot of things like that. And boulder public works doesnt know what caused that water main break. So you can see back out here live the hole that is left and all the debris that neighbors have to drive through again. The good news here is that the street is now open and that no one had to be displaced because 3 this water main break. As of right now the scene seems pretty calm out here. Glenwood cannon area. So its in Glen Wood Canyon where this rock slide happened. There is two of them. One where you saw those pictures and there was a second rock slide. This is a picture from the second rock slide. And you can see the flair to give it some light. This is also from the first rock slide. The damage on i70. It went right here. Right into the side of the highway and those were tremendous rocks. The stability of the slope is going to be a little tool dangerous to let traffic through there. That is why they have i70 closed down and they have to clean up the rocks and make sure it will be stable for folks to use. It doesnt look like it will become a big problem and i dont see much water leaking i think they have denver water crews that will come out and patch this up here. Really shouldnt cause a problem. The city of boulder hhve sent people out to deal with insurance claims for people bbt as they clean up this road and people have to drive along here, the city of boulder doesnt know what caused it.
