Is how are you bearing fruit I love this portion of Scripture because it's Paul it's writing this message and he is saying that he is compelled to do what it is he's going how many of you know what it is the be compelled to do something. When you're compelled to do something it's almost a force that is there won't let you rest until you get it done you you feel the need to do it and and no one has to tell you to do something when you're compelled you just want to get it done you gotta get it done some of us are compelled sometimes in the middle of the night have you ever woke up in the mood and night and you just have to take care of something before you can get some rest you are compelled to get that done some of us are compelled by our mode of gifts where if we see a need and we have a gift of mercy or gift of help we are compelled to address that need no one has to tell us we are compelled to do so and so this is the verbiage that Paul is using when he says he's a prisoner for Christ he is compelled to do the things that he is doing by the Holy Spirit that resides within him this is not a thing about choice this is about doing what God is compelling him to do and too many times in our Christian walk we talk about God in our relationship with God Not in terms of him being the driving force in our lives but in terms of him being a passenger along for the ride as we decide our lives. And that's the wrong position for Christ to be and for Christ wants to be your life God has given us Christ we're taken out of Adam and we're placed in Christ so that Christ can be our lives and so we can be changed from the inside out now it's not natural to be compelled by Jesus Christ it's. Supernatural to be compelled by Jesus Christ it's a spiritual issue here a man and so you know when I hear folks say well I'm trying to get it together pastor I'm trying to refer them the Hebrews 4910 and 11 God doesn't want you to try God I want you to give up on the bankruptcy of the flesh and he wants you to surrender from your trying and let Christ live through you a man and you say Well Pastor how can Christ live through me and less I try will get still for a minute given his word get on your face before God and watch yourself become compelled to do something. I've often told folks if you want to see a change in 30 days change the music you listen to if it's not Christian music change it and listen only Christian music get in your word every day and get on your face before God every day and you will change I'm here to tell you in 30 days you always hear a fad diets I'm telling you a spiritual revolution that what happened in your life if you do this in fact I think some folks in the media in Christian media is encouraging you to do a 30 day renewal nowadays Amen Amen that's kind of a spiritual Clinton's the get away all the stuff that blocks what God wants to have happen in your life out of your life so that you can hear from him clearly here in the scripture Paul is telling the church at Fs this East tell him Look I am sharing with you that I am being pushed as a prisoner in Christ and therefore I am begging you to take your call seriously a man he says walk worthy of your calling and saying whether you realize it or not every single person in this building has a calling card wants you to do something you have been a fit his kingdom on the earth for each person in. Here Well Pastor I'm not I'm not a preacher I didn't say everybody was going to be a preacher Well I'm not a teacher I didn't say everybody is going to be a teacher there's 7 motive gives they're located in Romans 12 in 1st Corinthians 12 check them out for yourself one of those give 4 more fit you and God wants to use you for His glory but you've got to be available and you've got to be use Paul was saying you know what church you've got to walk worthy your calling and not only do you have to walk worthy of your calling there's a certain way that you've got to walk when you walk worthy of your Carling you've got to have some spiritual things in tact and you've got to leave some of those carnal things behind you see you can impact folk and influence people for Christ when you've got a nasty attitude. That don't go together with the Spirit of God a man a man when you talk about folk that don't go together with the Spirit of God well past that what you're trying to say from saved sanctified and feel with the Holy Spirit no you're not when you're talking about your brother on a parking lot that if the Holy Ghost a man that's some else what. You say you weren't saying but I'm saying you haven't a flesh moment. Because that is the Spirit of God when you're talking about one another as a matter of fact in the church no one should even be able to talk about somebody else because as soon as you open your mouth the spirit in the person you're talking to are to say oh you know what we don't do that let's pray let's burn right now let's all our all our view that. It shouldn't even happen in church he goes this is what you hear. That's carnal thinking that's the carnal way of doing things that's not what Paul is saying here . God is saying that there's a certain way that you've got to go about doing this this is what Paul told the church or that for says that you have to be lowly You have to be gentle with long suffering a man so you've got to be humble and you've got to be gentle. Saints you've got to give up some rights you don't have the right to be right all the car you've got to give up some rights in Christ you don't even have the right to defend yourself in fact God said Don't our fight your back I have to take care a man and so this is supernatural insult to beginning gays in the supernatural unity you have to surrender the natural and take on the supernatural well past the how do I do have a if you're saved then the Holy Ghost is already in you so you're already a step ahead of the game you have something supernatural within you you just have to get out your way and let the Holy Spirit God Now we have prompted all the time the Holy Spirit leads us to say stuff all the time he leads us to do things all the time but we're not always open here because it doesn't fit our gender we've got things that we pretty much know how we want to go especially when it comes to career and family a man. Now church for some folk is just a checkmark. Sunday went to church. And then you go to live the regular law it's a man that's the how you know that because I used to be that way go to church check weighman unchecked sooner pretty girls Ok check I can talk about myself a man and then I could go on go to church on a way to church turn on the radio because this Christian music check on a church and not for that now let's get some you know. I can tell myself. Something God wants a difference in our lives and that different has to come from within and you know what signs the Word of God won't let you go I don't care how often you heard it you cannot be unified in less the spirit is in control because the Spirit is the unifying factor not your personality because God leaves your personality intact because he needs it to impact different people don't you know that your personality gets on somebody else's personalities nerves. But God is not going to change the personality because he needs that difference to impact different people I won't reach everyone because not everybody gets what my personality but another preacher is a different personality they may hear him Same thing with you all listen to me your personalities thirty's and task well past the how can I get along with someone that's the opposite of me the same way that you get along with your body my hand gets along fine with my food my hand never tries to do stuff that my food is designed to do my feet say you know what today I'm going to walk and support your body. I am going to take you to church my hands go gray What do you want me to do you want me to open the door for you for I'll do that what notion a minute do you want me to open a car go for your foot I'll do that you don't see the hand fighting over pushing pedals in the car. The hand isn't it. Isn't the same. But is it unified toward a central purpose absolutely Why is it in the church where we get different give things that people are jealous of one another's gift and people who are not trying to support one another when they give centers trying to go forth were part of the same. There's 2 parts of your body that are not normally seen by folk that do the majority of the work in your body in fact I submit to you that we wouldn't be able to do 2 thirds of the stuff we do without that is our abdomen in our back. And my right about. You hardly see your back in fact without a mirror you're not going to see your back unless you're different. And you can contort I can see my back. But you know what. If my eyes see an issue. Mahdi's was sent a message to the brain and say you drop your pin. And then my feet are going to say well hang on you're not close enough so let me help you I will get you close and guess what the feet don't say at this point I've done all I can do. I'm done. The hand the saying I really want to give it but I'm just not long enough. So then the knees are going to say what I can help in this effort I'm going to help you have been but as you get older. Your knees are going to say I've done all I can do. Then an area that you haven't even realized the new order to get the knees here your core has got to support you and you don't even realize it you've given no credit it does what it does and then to get the pin your back has got a big fan to get the pin. The bank gets no credit the core gets no credit but they don't need any credit because they're part of the body and is the fact that we got the pin. Science if we realize how badly we hinder the function of the body by not doing our peace then we would start doing that I think we'd stop him during the body and we would get on the same page it says that not only are to be long suffering that means put up with folk and unfortunately in the body we think we have a right not to have to put up with folk. But since I'm here to tell you there's no perfect church there's no perfect set of follow you gotta put up with folk and gonna put out with some of their idiosyncrasies you gotta put out with folk until dawn finishes with them which will be when they go to glory and man and don't forget while you're putting up with whom they're putting out what you. Some of us think we're on our we really hang a man some of us think we're a blessing we walk in the room the truth is some of us are more of a blessing when we walk out. A man. So we have to do this with longsuffering Listen to this it says that we need to bear with one another in love not just put all with one another but bear with one another's idiosyncrasy as a man know what you're getting you know what you're dealing with it's not our job to change people it's God's job to change folk from the inside out. Was she so loud you knew she was loud when you invited her to get on the committee she. Now was the problem why I thought she'd bring good ideas I believe so to some let her bring good ideas nice and loud. And then you share Yeah I did we don't have to be perfect folks sometimes come to me and said Pastor this committee I'm working now says the some of those disrupting everything can you move her off the committee and I always answer No that's what God who together he wants that make up for reason past what reason would he want for disorder I said he doesn't want disorder you want unity and he wants you all to find common ground somewhere in the middle and if she wasn't there if he wasn't there you wouldn't be stretched so that you could see other options you would be you know folk that always see things the same way they have a very narrow view of life but you need to be struck that is why I am convinced that God and marriage put opposites together so we can be stretched Sometimes couples come to me and said pass that we got someone to come and we want you to marry me and I go Well gosh he has so much in common one of you is not necessary you mean you have your complete just one person. Somebody's got to bring something different to the table a man a man. Endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit in the bonds of peace God is calling us secondly to walk in unity it says here this is the endeavor to keep peace of the Spirit and the bonds of peace and love God more insist to be unified He wants us in love to come together and to move forward does that mean that if I have a descending debate argument or choice that I'm not part of the unity No it doesn't mean that it means there's a way to share that descending thought question what have you there's a way to do it and you do that with the body amen if I have a meeting and I ask you is there some on your mind and you say no but you go behind my back and you start telling everybody else how you fail they're not in unity I'm here to tell you you need to come straight a man for me I'm a man's man you can tell me what you feel I won't be offended I don't have then skin I can handle but you've got to be able to handle it too because imo to you what I think. I know wrong with that a man but as long as we're straight we're fine but disunity happens when see the discontent are soon through out and not dealt with a new bot. And I'm here to tell you when that happens then we don't have unity since these things are not to be and what Paul is saying here is that we have to be unified in love we've got to be unified He said something critical here he says is not just love but we have to be in peace with each other and we have to be one spirit a man you all see that we have to be in and the spirits not to find it I don't believe the Spirit will sow seeds of discord among the body. Leave the Spirit what have us come together in unity a man. A couple weeks ago we had a guy who came and visited with us from Alabama I think it was Alabama and Anyway him and his wife came ahead 2 little kids they put kids in their class and they said in here and he was a tall fellow and I didn't get a chance to meet him too much talk to him but you know he really liked what we were doing any came because he found the only you 2 and he said he just had to come down and visit and so it came down and they visited there was something else going on but him or what it was but a ball game it was a ball game and so he came down in a way he talked to him after the service and he really enjoyed the service and he said he just wanted to make sure he came by the meet me and because he had been listen to my messages on you too. Well he he wrote me this letter he says. Yankee thank you so much for you and your wonderful church family welcoming me this past Sunday since Alabama lost the game it was definitely the highlight of my trip to Tampa but even if the tide would have won the game my visit to Calvary Community Church would still have been my fondest memory of the weekend a pretty good. He has this concern in who he is always as a few things but then he makes a statement Dr Jack is a former 2 time state championship quarterback and football Letterman at the University of Alabama where he earned many academic accolades including the team's highest g.p.a. Award for the 1992 national championship year. After college Dr Jack graduated. From the University of Alabama School of Medicine and Birmingham and so forth so I guess the guy played quarterback for the University of Alabama. But anyway so I got the book out and I started read not thought Now if he didn't get clear until he started listening to my You Tubes. The guy. Is almost like a reading my sermons. But he goes a lot further and deeper in some other things but he did it a pretty good job and I was very impressed and so he wrote a nice book. He says Do we have to repent of our sins to go to heaven kind of thing and he's against lordship salvation you think he's in graduated from college here. In the Sun a preacher is a medical doctor and he wrote a book which is what I've seen he wouldn't word of the same way that I would word of a but I mean for the most part of it it was very good and very clear but it just shows you that the sermons that were put not on You Tube are making a difference and somebody had sent me something and so I checked and I clicked it on air and one of these to scribe version no 2 of the You Tube and I looked on there and lo and behold it went to this guy's site and he got my sermon on there that I had just preach last week you know the one last Wednesday night sermon that I preached on the extreme venting of Muslims and things like that and why we need to do that why trying to do it in a way he had to get it off of our website and put it on his website. And in 2 hours he had 175 hits of yours on that one sermon 2 hours 175 people of our But there's people who take our stuff they put it on their site and they get a lot more hits on their sites than what we get on our site someone been gone for a long period of time and some got thousands and thousands of scribe years and so they're able to have more people so they put it there he gets more coverage but it doesn't add on the hours for some reason I gotta figure out how to get there count add up all knock out but they don't do it so I don't know there's anything you do about it so anyway just keep praying about dead I thought I would share with you just a little bit about what I'm going to talk about Tuesday so if you know I mentioned I am going to be speaking at the u.b.s. The. Fellowship and lot of more good people there's a lot of a lot of good people out there there really are. But a lot of just don't see eye to eye on everything and I was amazed one time when they had about 100 that just preachers up there in Indiana and Dr Greg Dixon asked me if I'd come up and speak and I asked one day why he says because I've never heard it but is it clears on the Gospel as you are because you present the gospel so clear that he didn't agree with me on everything else that I said but he really liked the clarity of the Gospel and so I was good enough if that's all I get to do that I'll do that and so I got another invitation I've been there in about 70 years and so they gave me into the station to come and speak and as did their open for about 50 of the going to have a special thing for Dr Greg Dixon because of 30 years of doing something that might have been the cause of the. Cause he started it but he's turned over to his son in so whatever I get a chance to speak tomorrow afternoon and I would keep betting in my brain because I'd like to try to help preachers understand the clarity of the gospel I can't figure out in your other thing that I can do to help him in the long run is it playing in the Gospel to last me because if we do all this other stuff. But if we fail in communicating to the last man the truth of the Gospel we blew it. But I mean we messed up if they say this man right here let's say he's lost if a preacher tells him the wrong thing he goes wrong place and he doesn't get to hear the clear Gospel he doesn't know really what is trust didn't get into heaven and so it's not just semantic it's it's either true or it's air and so that's why I like Usenet word that I've heard recently called fake news and the other word extreme betting I believe it has something to do so this letter that's on the one side here came from Dr Curtis Hudson 1902 now Dr Curtis Hudson was a great baddest preacher and he was now the editor of the sort of the Lord and so before this period of time yeah I got a chance of preacher with the butt but for this I told Dr Hudson that says you bad days or excellent and given invitations I mean you can have those people stand up and you can keep on until you get half the church down the front you know how to word it you know how to crowd us as you can you get all those who want to get say come on down and all of you they want to dedicate your life you come on down and all of you they've got a problem in your family you come on down and all you kids that have a troubled to parent you can. Get him a line or and then they can count to their decisions in the coming 2 seasons we made and I mean that's good if you want to do it better way I says but when you invite people to come to the front to hear the gospel really good save somebody take it show you that that's Ok buses but what about the people that won't come because they're embarrassed or ashamed or whatever and they got out of bed they got dressed they come all went to church and now you're not going to go home as they come another 50 feet. I says give the 1st then your invitation whatever you want to do I don't care after that but you ought to give them the Gospel 1st before you invite them maybe want to give a book where you have prayer with them you want to give a card or do anything I don't hear I said but you want to give the gospel 1st not over the Dr Hudson and because it was already pretty clear but the gospel which is always good at the ended so I mentioned that to him and so he did he started giving the Gospel 1st anonymity. He had so much good God that God knew how to draw all the Net You know doctors and for was somebody that knew how to draw the net he could draw than it is all of you will fission but they can't catch the fish the lot of you go fish and just can't catch the fish an adult does go out there and when I'm to have the Tao is he because of the fish and they call the improvers And then there's Yankee I can fish all day long and that somehow that fish knows I'm on the other end of that line and in going to buy He's not going to he don't want to come in my boat and so people can go fish and I was up in Minnesota and the greatest fisherman of all time name was Rodney Goldberg you know he's a great cause he said he was he was going take me fishing guaranteed Derna Tede if I went with him I'd catch fish you're not going to catch them fish and neither will I He said yes so he knew all 4 of the pots were in when you went and we didn't catch no fish but he had a reason it was the wrong time of the day the fish were not hungry yet I don't know what it was but we didn't catch any fish. I like catchin this other kind of fish but anyway this is what he wrote he says Dear Brother Arnall I was just given the same report for the month of August I thought you might like to know that 43 people wrote to say they had trusted Christ as Savior after reading your sermon the clarity of the Gospel Of course this is just the August report and I believe your sermon ran in the sword earlier it was about 34 months earlier so how many people trust the Lord of the months I don't know if that was just in the month of August but anyway he wrote me a nice little letter but if you look on the inside page there were this is the the dates it was March the 27th so this was way before August and so the clarity of the gospels a message that I preached that day and you have to put it in the sword so there's going to be some people at this place that they don't know who I am and a lot of them won't know who they are so because most of them have heard of Curtis Hudson or they've heard of the sword come from this is when I preach at the Sword conference there in San Antonio but just to let them know that what I'm going to be teaching on isn't something new because what I'm going to preach there is what I preached at the Sword conference with Dr Curtis and got a good review because of that now look there at the outline of the message why the Gospel of perfection requires extreme vetting from fake news so I've been listening to the news lately and I keep hearing those words extreme vetting I may have heard the same thing fake news I heard think the words fake news . I thought that I'd thought. This is a perfect title of a sermon and for where I'm going and what I'm going to be doing and not that would make a great sermon because I want to make sure that they can discern between the truth of the Gospel and fake news because this fake news that many are telling people is causing people to be blinded it's not helping them to see and many are discouraged there because I get I get so many e-mails it's incredible the people that are messed up because they're listening to what preachers are telling them because are adding things to the Gospel Remember the Bible talks about this and I want you to look at this look there in the book of 2nd Corinthians 2nd Corinthians and Chapter 11 2nd Trenton's Chapter 11. And you notice this is my texts called the simplicity that is in Jesus Christ they said listen he that is ing Jesus Christ. Now when you have add on's then it complicates it so the Bible tells us here in verse one would to God. You would bear with me a little in my folly and indeed bear with me for I am jealous over you with God The jealousy for I have a spouse you to one husband that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ but I fear lest by those 2 were very important in any means as the serpent big. He gave her some false news he gave her some fake news along with he gave her some truth. Through his subtlety so your minds should be corrupted from the some Polish city that is in Christ so when you and I believe fake news things that God did not say but we believe that God said it because we've heard somebody say that and next thing you know it affects but we do how we live then it's it's because we have corrupted our minds we've allowed fake news to corrupt our minds and so we believe something that isn't true isn't this something that the devil does consistently to God's people you see if you're a lost the always tell you got to work for and then if you are saved he says there's nothing to do any more don't do anything just always the opposite of trying to destroy God's purpose and our lives and so I mention is through the college because the other day these 3 things that I have listed here salvation service or to life.
