Democrats are essentially asking a judge to stop efforts by republicans and the Trump Campaign. That it says are meant to supress and intimidate minority voters. Patrick Walker democrats filed this lawsuit in Us District Court this week. Party of conspiring to commit voter intimidation and Voter Suppression efforts. The complaint lists three instances in nevada. Two in clark county. One of the complaints. That a trump supporter harrassed and intimidated people who werent voting for trump. By yelling at them in an alleged effort to keep them from voting. The other allegation. That a Trump Campaign poll observer was asked to leave this early voting location near south rainbow and the 215. People standing in line waiting to vote. None of the parties would go on camera. But on filing the lawsuit. Nevada Democratic Party spokesman stewart boss issued a statement. Saying we have every confidence that a Record Number of nevada voters will make their voices heard in this election, and we are committed to helping them do so. Nevada Republican Party chairman Michael Mcdonald condemned the alleged actions. Telling us we have zero tolerance for any attempt to intimidate voters from exercising their constitutional rights. The arguments made by the nevada Democratic Party are nothing do not reflect the efforts of our operation. And the Trump Campaign released a statement. Saying the campaign is doing everything in accordance with applicable lawthe suit does not challenge this, and asks only that the law be followed, which the campaign is already doing. Patrick Walker the lawsuit seeks to put a halt to the alleged intimidation tactics. I got a sneak peek of the cars outside of the convention center. But this morning the doors opened. And our own nia wong was one of the first to see whats new and exciting in the automotive specialty world. Well, sema organizers tell me they expect 140,000 people to come out to this years convention. As you can see below me. A showroom packed for the50th anniversary. Now i spoke with peter macgillibray vp of communications. Exhibitors none of which are the same. He says you can tie a lot of trends happening at this convention to patterns outside of sema. For example the economy. Trucks are making a big comeback this year and he says thats due to lower gas prices fueling this trend. Also another one compact cars. He says thats a generational tie. Macgillivray says younger people are showing a lot of enthusiasm for these models because of their style and he says also now with this being a trade show, its not just for people within the industry. Its going to be a wet and cloudy halloween for the pacific northwest, while record breaking heat hits the Southern Plains and over to the southeast and temps there could reach into the 80s and summerlike temps will continue. Tonight expect lows in the mid 50s and chilly by morning and the temps drop overnight and expect mostly clear skies to help aid that. Looks like more sunshine with cooler highs again in the 70s to 60s for some parts of the region. We will see some breezes pick up, but they should not be what we saw on sunday nor will any wind alerts be issued. Neighborhood by neighborhood temps will climb to only the 70s for tuesday with the mildest temps over to the eastside of town where were lower in elevation. Coolest spots will be near the foothills and Mount Charleston as we set up for cool but comfortable tuesday. Breezes will kick back in overnight giving way to some wind but staying mainly light breezes and not windy. Temps through most of the week, with warming by midweek and beyond. Should jump up near 80 again and unseasonably mild for this time of year. First week of november stays cool and look for more clouds and wind to develop.
