And this is what surprsied me. It says im 12 italian. Not 50 . Remember my moms side is 100 it also claims im 27 middle eastern from asia minor. Which ive never heard before. But people probably immigrated from there to italy. When you add the percentages together. It totals 39 . Which is almost the 50 i thought i was. Another surprise . None of my british heritige showed up at all. And my danish side only came in as 21 . I presumed it would be higher. Adding to the confusing. My company. And his results showed hes. 34 british. But only 15 danish. Could i be more danish than my dad . . When i asked the family tree dna folks they taught me. We are not 5050 splits of our parents. In my case. I may have gotten more of my dads danish dna. Than the british. That also means i could have more of my dads dna than my Michelle Mortensen so now ive got to answer the big question. Does it work . Got to answer the big question. Does it work . I believe it does. But it isnt cut and dry. The results can be confusing and are nothing like what you see on tv. For that.
