Brittany Edney from what investigators have gathered a 29yearold male who lives nearby was working on his motorcycle this afternoon, and was doing a few laps around this area testing his breaks, when he crashed into a garage. Were told he was speeding. And that he was a licensed rideralso wea the time. But again, going way too fast in this neighborhood. There is a speed limit sign posted on this road of 15 miles per hour. Metro says no one else was injured and that there was significant damage done to the home. Witnesses tell us that they just heard the loud sound of the bike and couldnt believe what happened next. tiffany harris, witness hearing it, youre like, when is it going to stop and it went by and was just a blur, right in that area and then heard the impact into the garage. Sharie Johnson the remaining two deadly crashes happened overnight and metro b both happened just after 3 am. The first happened at the intersection of h street and owens. Police say a chevy avalanche was making a left turn when a gmc truck ran a red light and hit the chevy. The gmc then flipped and hit a light pole. The 20yearold driver, Eduardo Urrutia was pronounced dead at the scene. A 20 year old passenger also injured. The 50 year old driver and 18 year old passenger of the gmc were caught fire after a rollover crash near desert inn and theme road. Police say the car may have been street racing the driver and passenger were taken to the hospital where the passenger later died. The female driver is believed to be impaired.
