The momentum that was behind him there is a there's a default to Biden that's sort of captured in his own wife's argument for him which is hey you know he may not be your favorite but he's the most electable sort of a backhanded endorsement from his wife but if Biden falters then there's going to be a market opportunity Elaine open for somebody to be the sort of more moderate least perception wise and more electable No actually I think that Mitt Romney was very much like that in 2012 he was the he was perceived as the most electable against against Barack Obama he was the most palatable he was the you know he wasn't as they stream of what we call themselves it was an extreme conservative I think at one point in time trying to try to combat that but it was the same sort of dynamic I don't think that with that polling that we're seeing for Joe Biden isn't a sort of momentum in itself there's a certain never debility momentum that goes along with a front runner in that position as a diplomat running there probably was an even stronger position within the same strong position that Joe Biden has right now Joe Biden's been around for a long time he is somebody who can connect with. Blue collar voters better than say a lot of the war and can or Bernie Sanders can or really almost anybody else in that field maybe Steve Bullock is the only guy in the field right now who might be able to fill that role but he's what it Cyril point 3 percent in the polls he's on his way out of it so I don't think you want to sell Biden short and I'll tell you something else that's going on you know people talk about recession or the possibility of recession has that actually happens. Voters get conservative and old a conservative in the Democratic primary as well they don't want to go back to somebody who is not a big change somebody who is the candidate of returning to a previous status quo and that's Joe Biden nobody else on that stage can can fill that role and so I think you've got I think you've got several different angles here in which Joe Biden is going to benefit for all of the d.c. Press corps obsession with the electability characteristic of Biden and that's what's booing him to listen to the pond and saw the reality here in the Democratic primary which really billing him is a black and unless one of the other candidates can meaningfully cut into his support in the black community then as long as the field is relatively robust maybe 5 plus candidates they've got a real problem. I think that the only person who might have been able to challenge him for that would have been Carol Harris I think for Cory Booker Cory Booker would have been a good candidate for that and camel Harris is busy shooting your self in the foot I mean she's worse than Joe Biden on the stage you know she during that last debate when told to gather going after her even though Tulsa Gabbert had been going after her for 3 weeks prior to that debate she got a look in her eye that was very similar to Dan Quayle's in the debate with. You or she just looked like a deer in the headlights and didn't know how to respond and she is not a very good candidate as it turns out when you put her to the test and so I think you're right I mean I think that Joe Biden is somebody who's very closely associated with Barack Obama who still extremely popular not just with the black voters in the Democratic Party but all voters in the Democratic Party and as long as he doesn't screw up. There and see that it's Joe Biden after all I don't think that there's going to be anybody who is going to be able to come close to $1.00 here as just another cautionary tale on the you know what looks good on paper but this is why we play the game. James because you're right it would seem like she set up perfectly for this with all the questions surrounding the other candidates and the but you still have to perform and ever since that 1st debate and where she had her moment with Joe Biden on busing but then almost stepped right on her moment by then sort of defaulting to Joe Biden's position on bussing after the primary she's just been in freefall or she's are going to one of these robots I think that you can go back and look at 2012 and 26 tool in Republican primaries and see the same sort of dynamic she has one moment and it people rally to or as the alternative to the guy goes and fried and then he receives a feat of quiet at some point and and the bullet and I think that that's exactly what happened here don't forget Carol here is that something else going for her California moved up its primary and she was expected to win that primary and so we have this tremendous boost of.
