Accusations were fine enough they were sufficient to the task but not this go around See I'm agreeing with her Joe Biden deserves the you know the the benefit of the doubt that comes with our jurisprudence he should be considered innocent until proven guilty My complaint is that she didn't give that same latitude to Kavanagh She's the embodiment. Of hypocrisy She's the archetype a representation of duplicity and it's a sickening development but there you have it there yeah also the Democrats' political leadership insists the Trump is lying about there being a crisis at the border they say he's just doing it to build his wall but Obama's former homeland secretary and Border Patrol Chief are both agreeing with Trump's assessment So what's next on the horizon also the same Republicans who have been getting elected by running against Obamacare now say they can't find it because doing so would endanger getting reelected but please that is just in sane It makes no sense that makes no sense whatsoever of who comes up with this stuff think about it the same Republicans who've been getting elected by running against Obamacare now say they can't fight it because doing so would endanger their reelection hopes folks have mentioned this before what on earth is the use of acquiring power to work for particular changes if you're not going to pursue those changes because they would allegedly allegedly lead to you losing that power that's crazy talk about what the hell is the use of getting authority of getting into a position of power to work for particular policies and changes if you don't pursue those changes because it would allegedly lead to you losing said Power think about this the nonsense a calorie that I mean it is a bit like working hard to win someone's hand in marriage and then skipping the wedding just because you want to avoid a potentially messy divorce this is silly Take a Republican let me ask you this why the hell bother proposing that which you have no intention of delivering now the remedy is is pretty well known. See I think what we should do is just go back to what we had as a baseline level or if you will as a primary baseline. But keep the preexisting conditions protection as well as the eligibility for kids to remain on the parents' plans til they're like 26 then have the 20000000 previously uninsured folks completely covered by a shared insurance company pool for those at risk families much as we currently have drivers in auto insurance that way the free market stays intact to provide lower competitive prices while still providing a security net for the previously uninsured what the hell is wrong with that strategy let me anything is now Washington Post also weighed in on this in an appearance on Fox News Sunday Kellyanne Conway White House adviser told Chris Wallace quote The Republicans plan is manifold unquote but she did not provide specifics instead going on to attack Democrats over the Medicare for all ideas that some in their party have embraced some a huge amount have embrace the Washington Post. And that's the end of what they said But look don't get me wrong I think Republicans are correct in denouncing Medicare for all because of it's verifiably cost prohibitive dysfunction However we've got to remember why Obamacare one of being so disastrous going to really remember why this came about you see all the one party in one chamber actually wrote the law with which we now live and that's why it's currently killing us. It's because of the 60 vote filibuster proof majority that Democrats have enjoyed from 2008 to 2010 that they were able to push it through but guess what it just didn't work out as they had planned you see Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy's passing away is actually would force Democrats in the house to just vote up or down on the outgoing Senate's version which was deemed to be still active for a year her then Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's pronouncements the Republican Scott Brown had won Kennedy's seat in a very special election and that reduced the Democrats' supermajority from $60.00 to $59.00 now had the Democrats not lost that 60th vote they could have gone through the normal process of having a House Senate conference committee to iron out the the 2 different versions of the Affordable Care Act from each of the 2 chambers however because Scott because of Scott they knew that whatever that conference committee would have settled upon. Would have been rejected by Mr Scott now the only way around that was to have the house you know simply vote on the Senate's version without changes so that Scott could not be a factor and it's only because and I'm not kidding here folks it's because only one party of one chamber truly created the Affordable Care Act that we've had so many debacle since then that's what's got corrected we got it we've got to get rid of it and you know it's hard to do without getting rid of the filibuster that filibusters of vile thing it always has been evolving as a voter disenfranchising entity because it always allows the minority party to have greater power in stopping legislation than the majority party has in passing it. You see because of the threshold of 60 that must be met that means that whatever the differences between the majority is total and the number 60 effectively becomes votes for the opposition in this case the Democrats have 47 the Republicans have 53 legislation can only get past that the 60 votes so the Republicans have their 53 and the Democrats have the 47 but guess what the Democrats also have whatever number exists between 53 in the number 67 they certainly have whatever total exist between the majorities total and the number 60 in this case again it's 7 so the Democrats have the 47 Republicans have 53 but because of the difference of 7 between 53 and 60 with the g.o.p. Are concerned those 7 votes effectively go to the Democrats who most will say that 7 on top of 40 that's 54 to 53 they effectively have greater power in stopping legislation and the majority hasn't passing it and this is same case when the when the Democrats are in power and that's why we've got to get rid of this thing because it is a 1st trial piece of ground for all the bad faith vote you could ever hope to avoid you see a senator can for instance be against a particular bill but they'll get away with voting for it just to pacify a lot of their constituents who may be for it while knowing at the same time that because the sword chance in hell is going to pass that they're also not going to alienate the other constituents. Who are against the bill they're going to be alienated because the sucker never had a chance of being passed so they're not going to be pissed they don't care about the sausage making They just don't have to worry about those senators however they get away with those kinds of bad faith votes they are our problem they can take a vote. That makes them look good for a component of the constituency. Knowing that because there's not a chance in hell that particular just lation is going to reach the 60 vote requisite that by default not going to alienate perhaps even greater number of their constituents who are against the bill. That. Says. This is a voter disenfranchising votes that must be gotten rid of as quickly as possible. By feeding America and the Ad Council. It's never taken me 400 pages to say nothing happened and so I imagine something happened and that something particularly with respect to obstruction was quite serious but I have a theory I think it's plausible as to why Mohler didn't recommend prosecution or declination on the obstruction it goes as follows The Department of Justice has in place policies one dates to the 7 days $1.00 to 2000 that say to charge a sitting president would be overly burdensome it would stigmatize the presidency and so we just don't charge sitting presidents with that in mind even if the obstruction constituted a crime and it may well have we don't know that yet I can imagine Moeller not making a recommendation because a recommendation to prosecute someone you can't prosecute is equally burdensome and equally stigmatizing. Welcome back everybody welcome back of yours Alan Nathan the militant moderate once again this is the oasis for those who have an aversion to the left right black white 2 dimensional approach. You are listening to m.s.m. He sees deadline when White House with Nicole Wallace. Is an n.b.c. Legal expert and former u.s. Attorney Chuck Rosenberg talking as you heard saying that the Mullah report that. Thing of the report that he thinks something was found because of how well the report is he speculates that it centers on obstruction of justice and Miller didn't make any recommendations for because of a policy against charging sitting presidents He further says even in recommending a prosecution despite not being able to prosecute from would be burdensome and stigmatizing these are all tertiary measures not really dispositive but I guess posters have a lot of fun talking about them but the reality is there's so much more to this and a lot of folks just really need to become. That much more savvy because I am so so very tired of folks just not catching on to what's in front of us you see on the left the never Trumper right are hanging on more apparently saying that Trump hasn't been exonerated on obstruction of justice Scalia but admits again that there is insufficient evidence to claim that he indeed did obstruct justice now Firstly once your investigation is finished and you haven't been able to show obstruction of justice Well then by the fall you return to your subjects presumption of innocence Ok which equals exoneration whether you like it or not because your case has been discharged Who are these folks trying to fool but let me help everybody out here Ok it is impossible for the president to obstruct justice simply by executing his constitutional statutory administrative authority to overrule overturn and override all actions by those overwhelm he has the power to hire fire at Vance or demote folks this is black letter separated power Ok and Trump can resist or ignore any court ruling and severing to usurp that right and he may do so one of the practice of departmental is that this permits branches to defend the progressives under a separation of powers claim. And trumps authority to hire and fire subordinates or his authority to fire those hired by those he can hire and fire as well as his authority to overrule overturn and override those same folks guess what it's a power that never becomes subordinate to those under him simply because those under him might be investigating him and the reason the president never loses this branch separation of power is because only by always having this power can he ensure that those under him are never permitted to commit a coup just because they used the trappings of officialdom as a cover to facilitate that damn coup that can never be permitted now folks he's not a king so he decided to hypothetically ignore a lower court's injunction against his actions that will put the kybosh on everything he's trying to do with the border nationwide. He's not a king so he tells them get screwed. Because he believes that as the judiciary exceeded its own separated a power it by default won the usurping he is if that's his case that's his case now if the House doesn't like it again he's not a king the house with a majority vote can write up articles of impeachment and refer to the upper chamber for Senate trial once at the Senate trial if Trump successfully enough presents his case to the point where the Senate cannot muster the 2 thirds votes necessary to oust him well then as a matter of process he will have won because he will have won constitutionally he would have won legally and there's f. All that any court or Congress can do about it because that's the ultimate trial please understand the fall when you never forget it the judiciary has the final say over all court rulings Ok but it provably does not have the final say over branch disputes especially when the court is a party to one of those branch disputes this it all back some in law that says no one should be a judge in his own case. And in this instance with a branch dispute between the executive and the judiciary the judiciary can't be the final arbiter because indeed it would be trying to be a judge in its own case can happen the only appropriate place for those things to be do to Kate it is at the Senate trial and there's a place where of course Trump would win and it would mean to get off on that too much and we have assisting in the opining and analyzing all from the show Scott Whitlock associate editor for new sponsors who was previously senior news editor and analyst at the Media Research Center great to have you back Scott how are you today and even great thanks I mean I'm going to have a good Have a listen you're of the opinion that n.b.c. Is ignored not only ignoring the border crisis entirely but it's also ignoring those from the Obama administration who agree with Trump on his description of what's going on at the border Jay Johnson former Department of Homeland Security says it's not in big usually clear that there is a crisis at the border Obama's former Border Patrol Chief he also was of the view that there is a definite crisis there and he says that the president should see true to the course and of course you have today's. Secretary of Homeland Security which is Nielsen also making it abundantly clear that we have a crisis at the border I see Trump being perfectly secure in his use of his national emergency powers as he has thus far invoked to go ahead and build that wall where am I mistaken Mr Whitlock. No I think that's right I think the problem for the media anyway is that Dave really kind of gone back and forth like a ping pong on this during the need terms we saw over and over again and this whole thing of there is no crisis there there's no crisis at the border and it's I mean he called it that big. The idea that there is this crisis at the border and so now that we've seen things seemingly getting worse there's been a bit of a 180 where you have them if anything he and c.n.n. We did a study we're in the last few days there actually using the word crisis on those 2 people networks but then you also have the networks kind of ignoring details that kind of showcase the crisis like the 100000 border arrests that were that we just had and beefy on their evening newscast didn't didn't cover that and the other networks kind of begrudgingly cover dad although they they focused on the out of out over the coming out of Kotto crisis there which you probably heard about so it's really been back and forth where we're depending on the Democratic spin a narrative that's where the networks have been on whether it's a crisis or not well we understand the. Well one thing I found striking was this piece that I read in The Washington Examiner The headline is Obama's d.h. As Secretary Jay Johnson quote We are truly in a crisis at the southern border. But what I found astonishing was what they wrote in this instance that quote in fiscal 2017 c.b.p. Documented 2 groups of 100 people or more Ok happen a couple of times with this a 100 people or more Cross will together then go on to write this the number of group apprehensions jumped to 13 in 2018 and have spiked to 93 just in the 1st 6 months of fiscal year 2019 so in other words there are now have been 93. Groups having $100.00 or more in each versus a few years ago it was only 13 that is astonishing by every objective measure under the sun is it not Scott with luck. It is a pretty good fact the fact that these networks went into a mama even care about the sort of thing credit is or not they were going to make trouble more vital work you're listening to the. Attack on his credibility and his honor to sit there or are we allowed to talk about it why are we allowed to bring it up man you can bring it up if you want your Twitter if you don't like your Twitter feed. Which is the measure of SAGAL Because if you're in the public arena you having debates have a regardless of the reaction I do but do in a few years couple of 100 radio stations broadcast around the country. Ticking off a lot of people on the left and right because the left can't stand me because I used to be one of them almost hard core social progress but obviously I can't embrace the Democratic Party now because. Of their Clytie for claiming that their stated goals and intentions validate their agenda that way you can always be characterized as being against their stated goals if you have the temerity to voice opposition against their agenda this is is a vile disgusting form so history and I've been fighting it now for a number of years and I will continue but having said that what I find astonishing is the universal the pity the left on this issue I mean my God Are we forgetting that when capital was subjected to scrutiny. The accusers not only had to be heard they had to be believed and now we have Mika Brzezinski from m.s.m. B.c. From Morning Joe saying the direct antithesis you were just listening or ask or asking the question if we're allowed to mention that one of Joe Biden's accusers is a Bernie Sanders supporter who may have ulterior motives and you got Scarborough a joking that well you can bring it up if you want don't care what your Twitter feed is going with like all that means that we now know that these hosts are restraining themselves when it comes to open vibrant discourse because you are going to preach you're going to censor yourself in advance because of the totality of my Apia that you believe could very well be driving too many Twitter accounts out there and your suspicion would be correct 11 myopia out there in Twitter land. If you break we have a system in your party in analyzing offer to show one of our regulars Lopate former Think Tank Futurist and retired roving editor at Reader's Digest magazine he's been a contributing editor to Reason magazine and is also a columnist at Newsmax you see you've seen his stuff in The Wall Street Journal as well as the New York Times by the way He's also co-author with Craig Smith of the recently released highly praised book entitled money morality and the machine lol great to have you back and I just don't remember Mika having the same kind of nuance thinking when Judge Kavanaugh was being subjected to scrutiny as far as she was concerned accusations alone were enough for my arm I mistakenly remembering this oh no I remember it the same way you do so we may have the same level of civility but now that that's the traditional you know if it weren't for double standards the left would have no standards at all so they want to protect their guy there Mika Brzezinski interesting Lee is never asked about her father is a big favorite Inskeep major foreign policy adviser to Jimmy Carter of the island who at one point not that long before his death said that well it's Israeli jets were to attack Iran to take out its nuclear facilities the u.s. Military base in the Persian Gulf in our ships there we did go up and shoot down all those Israeli jets in other words he advocated a mass murder of Jews and nobody's interested in me how about that no no he no that's a good point actually I had as a big on my show years ago as well as his son. And his son actually I think is the most new Wants to the 3 pretty cool guy he's he's a sharp guy. But his father was in my estimation an authoritarian piece of crap and Mika is seemingly timid and shy when it comes to asserting what she really feels because of the fact that it might not. Be in lock step sync with her Democratic brother and in my estimation that reduces her credibility as a forward thinker in my being too snarky Well let's just ask when are she going to set the date for their marriage if they don't that's. Not a measure for me of anything but I appreciate the tongue in cheek I have heard of them no I haven't no but well they say they're going to get it they just somehow they were going around the city to date at least publicly you know what we can see that happening in families around the country now I mean you know me and Mary have a thing and I expect n.b.c. Or m.s.n. D.c. To cover that as if it were a royal wedding they could very well. Anyway your estimation the what we're looking at here Joe Biden I'm wondering. Is this the less effort to just take him out. Because it would be clear sailing and our people on the right perhaps in back with back channels helping those on the far left because they know Joe Biden is a bit more of a threat to trump as he has the the trappings of centrism if not the reality of it your sense of it sir well he does but on the other hand he's a great threat to the Democratic Party whose young base is in Emmert of socialism minorities and so on joke the show violates all those guidelines and as such if they can take him out in some reasonable way I'm sure they'd be glad to of course the real sin of Joe Biden from my point of view apart from the corruption he had his son of apparently been involved in the past in Russia and in Ukraine and that's a whole topic unto itself is the fact that he ordered when he was vice president the women on his Secret Service detail to watch him as he would swim in the White House pool swim make it now that's creepy. You know what I remember that story I had thought of it so you just mention it now I mean I don't know you just said something here you just said something quite formidable in the retelling of a story that obviously was clearly embarrassing to Joe Biden. Give us a sense of the story and also if you wouldn't mind a sense of its credibility honestly and objectively go ahead I want to know how did nobody denies it nobody denies it at all I'm surprised in fact that some Secret Service female has not anonymous Lee put out a story saying yes he forced us to look and he's one of the smallest men I've ever seen Did she really say that no no no. If you want to get rid of Joe Biden it would be a way to do it or you were unusual. I don't overnight you were the subject of my apologies I'd floated a different I thought you were making it as an assertion Ok Ok many how many of his staff were forced to watch him swim naked in his pool Well whoever the females were of course and I'm not saying he limited the Secret Service detail just to the women agents but I'm saying he required them to be there and that was after all part of their job they would be expected to be there they wouldn't be expected to be excluded the way that l.b.j. For example used to hold press conferences while he was sitting on the toilet as a way of excluding women reporters from his press conferences. You know some of these people do this of. A severe slapping across the head when they were around regardless of one of the great things they may have done is just file a horrible I mean you know the idea of marginalizing people in such a fashion although there are some who could argue that when Biden was swimming naked he could always say listen this is my routine and I should not have to alter my routine because of the puritanical sensitivities of those who are tasked with guarding me were guard us of what I'm wearing or not wearing what would you say to those people I would say I'm an old sexist. It's late seventy's therefore I should be entitled to keep my old sexism. I mean I mean that's basically what you're saying you were you don't need to change with the times well there's a traditional cultural comparable saying you know but for being a vice president or both for having the Secret Service guarding him this would be his normal routine and he might think why should I have to alter my normal routine or any other part of my private life to the degree that I don't have to just because a lot of to quote a puritanical sensibilities of those who have to watch me and protect me a lot about that that would apply to all of his traditional racist remarks to about people only people from India certain work in certain fast food places and so on actually tell you about the 2nd letter when he said 711 unless you have an Indian dialect present Why don't you remember his saying yeah but. If you look back I think Seriously what it is is Joe Biden lost his wife and the son Joe Biden doubtless still has tremendous love in your earning about him I mean even human. And research he just likes to be affectionate with young women with old women with pretty women with ugly women who seem to be we happy to snuggle up to all of them. Well again I've always believed that intentions Trump perception but perception still has to be factored in the can be respectful to other people and if you make an folks feel uncomfortable because you're too closely associated yourself with them whether it's conversation or or or touching the what have you to be respectful of that anyway. When I was in office in Kirsten you know since job at her desk I get to work around 6 30 in the morning and there'd be an intelligence fork sitting on my desk the p.t. B. And also the apprehension numbers from the day before and I look at the nerve in morning the 1st thing I look at in are probably got too close to the problem and my staff will tell you if it was under 1000 apprehensions the day before that was a relatively good number and if it was about 1000 the relatively bad number I was going to be in a bad mood the whole day on Tuesday there were 4000 branches I know that a 1000 overwhelms the system I cannot begin to imagine what 4000 a day looks like so we are truly in a crisis. Welcome back everybody welcome back of yours Ellen even the militant moderate once again this is the oasis for those who have an aversion to the left right black white 2 dimensional approach while. In a manner quite antithetical to the preferred wishes of the Democrats you just heard former Obama administration v.h.s. Secretary Jay Johnson the former Obama Secretary of Homeland Security saying when he said this while he was on m.s.m. He sees Morning Joe with Mika Brzezinski as well. Any was saying that when he was in office it was considered a bad day if there were ever over a 1000 apprehensions at the border he goes on to say that there were 4000 apprehensions in a single day. As of March 26th and when you consider that only $1000.00 overwhelms the system we're obviously in a crisis he even said quote unquote we are truly in a crisis and yet the Democrats as a whole are insisting that to say that there's a crisis is a ball at the border is just a way to manufacture a lie. That conserves foundation for his justifying the calling of a national emergency he invoked his national emergencies powers is something known as the National Emergencies Act of 1906 and he has used this and it looks as if he's got a pretty clear path ahead when you've got the former Obama of border patrol chief joining the sekret the former Obama Secretary of Homeland Security in saying that there is indeed a crisis at the border with the perhaps the Democrats will find it that much more difficult to convince everybody in the universe that there is not that which can verifiably be shown to exist that's what they're saying they're essentially pointing to a leaky pipe and the calling it a water fountain and they still expect you to believe them. We have assisting in your planning and analyzing over the show one of my regulars Wolpoff the former Think Tank Futurist and retired roving editor at Reader's Digest magazine he's been a contributing editor to Reason magazine he's also a columnist at news Newsmax you've seen his writings in the Wall Street Journal as well as the New York Times by the way he's co-author with Craig Smith of the recently released a highly praised book entitled money morality and the machine lol appreciate you sticking around by the way how can folks get a hold your find work oh they can get a book for absolutely nothing will pay the postage and so on they can also get our new white paper called protecting your wealth in today's America where for the 1st time we don't have to pro-capitalist political parties we have one pro-capitalist one and I capitalist So how in the world do you invest wisely when it could lead to all kinds of chaos depending on who wins and the way you get them just by calling a toll free number 86301492 like the year Columbus sailed the ocean blue That's 186301492 yes isn't the border amazing. When you think about what Jay Johnson had to say I mean a day Johnson is saying this and Obama's border chief is saying the same I mean Obama's border chief I can members name of his mill or whatever have to look it up sorry but he made I mean what is it. No I appreciate what you're saying the problem is the estimate now for this summer or spring as the crowds finally can swarm in before the ultra high heat and after the cold and so on rain they could be facing $12000.00 per day maybe even more well I'm sorry then I'm having a difficult time believing the truck is going to really run into any core problems and if he does this is the one time where he should say screw you you're violating my separated powers if you want. You know bitch and moan all you or you desire but I'm still going to ignore your court order after which of course you would have of the House potentially right up articles of impeachment takes a simple majority they were further to the upper chamber for Senate trial but at that Senate trial as I've mentioned before with you on the show as well as Trump can successfully put forward a separation of powers claim to the degree that the Senate cannot muster the 2 thirds votes required to oust him that by default his actions stand he will have one constitutionally therefore all right he will have one at least isn't that fair to say Yeah and in addition Yes of course it's fair to say but the thing is we have more than body counts to deal with so what if it were only $1000.00 coming across 90 percent of the illegal drugs such as that and heroin that have been killing the American people by 2 to the event for the last 3 years of war victims per year than the entire Vietnam War and its 10 year entirety. That by itself is a crisis it is a kind of chemical warfare against the United States it is striking up a tremendous body count like a serious war would and therefore the president can say that alone more than justifies the calling of the crisis I don't care 11 am in the life of a women all these arrests there are all these areas in which we've stopped these flowing drugs have been at the appointed ports of entry. So where is the argument of course I would respond by saying when you have a porous borders being crossed over continuously with no monitoring or no ability to gauge then you don't know how much more in the way of illicit drugs crossed over in that fashion is not bear to point out well remember a lot of the drug mules bringing people will bring ordinary immigrants across the border at one point maybe they will maybe they won't give them some drugs to carry but then there's the Border Patrol is suddenly drawn together and has to use its resources to stop those conventional immigrants who are coming across illegally the a drug smugglers then can move across other points of the border 5 or 10 miles away and they know that the border patrol efforts are all that absorbed by the quote unquote legal aliens at least that's what the Democrats call them so there are still a part of the problem of drugs directly and indirectly. The video of these people continuously crossing over there for everybody to see. Unfortunately so many of our networks just aren't carrying it. What do you do. To be fair Alan our network share of zeroed in on the real problem and that is if Trump closes the border we're going to have an article shortage within a week or so in the United States how will we know when you look out oh toast How would you get your lonely Thank God my wife and I have 5 a cow to treat our backyard or we'd be afraid to. Measures that are used to avoid the primary ones because those with a weak arguments are unable to uphold their half of the original Don't you love it I mean. I can't have a cup of coffee today because my mother in law wrote a bicycle last Thursday it's no connectivity between the 2 there's no connectivity between a potential avocado shortage and why it is trying to close the border unless of course you.
