I've been as you might guess rather upset about this development because I can believe in the legitimacy of an effort to bring a piece of legislation about or I can't and I can understand people having a particular preference for one type of executive order versus another what I have no tolerance for are people who will in the name of doing good violate law on the way I mean you know I like the idea of saying hey in the name. Of a noble cause we have the right to trample on far nobler principles and I believe that's pretty much what happened when this New York based federal judge Nicholas this. Decided to go ahead and artificially manufacture grounds to trance send the constitutional ones already in place or my being too harsh your sense of. I'm not sure that's the way I would interpret it basically what the judge says is a program that was created by President Barack Obama to executive authority and he felt that President Obama had the right to create this program and and that's President also has the authority the same authority to end the program but when you when you're going to end the program you have to do it legal manner and he he ruled that although presidents don't have the authority to executive through the executive branch and the program he did so likely unlawfully based on the legal arguments that were proposed one of those arguments he doesn't need any that's the irony of it I mean one hand group is acknowledges trans power to revoke DACA If then he says quote but it must give a sound reason for doing so on court now by that measure isn't the court saying yes Mr President it's your decision to remove a predecessor's executive order but only if I agree I mean since when does the court get the double is the executive Sir. In such a way as to be delivered through functional illiteracy It's almost as if we have to tolerate functional illiteracy in order to accept their flipping on these issues or am I overstating it sir now the Democrats have for years paid lip service to border security usually in exchange for some form of amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants but otherwise just as a posturing move so that they can pretend to be tough on the issue when they're really not Republicans often play the same game and again will pay lip service to this issue when we actually do need to secure the border the president has been pushing for a border wall and I think that was you know one of the reasons he won the primary in 2016 and definitely the general election and moving on to the stock thing that this is totally unconstitutional in the 1st place but unconstitutional we had a president and attorney general saying that they were not going to enforce the law and now this judge is going to come back and say because the prior president promised not to enforce the law everyone who we promised not to enforce the law it is now and I told to continue to have this not enforcement So basically you could have the attorney general come forward one day to say we're not going to enforce any laws and then if this judge's ruling were to be held this president and no one would be allowed to enforce laws ever again you'd have you know that's he's going to be so nonsensical about this that's what's so nonsensical about this look a judge has every right let's say to rule against an executive orders existence he can it can rule to stop a particular executive order predicate on the grounds that let's say it violates the Constitution that that should always be done but that doesn't mean that this judge by extension now has the power to force the continuance of an executive order because that's a decision that lies only with the bridge right I mean no judge and dictate to a succeeding president which executive orders he may cancel from a proceeding.
