>> kyle submitted mount kill man jarreau just last week. >> now the fist pictures of how he gutted it out wroosh. >> he is going to have to be carried out 90% of the way. >> good friends lick each other, right? this is weird. we begin with news cam footage from a tennessee highway patrol officer. guys, this footage is at the center of a $10 million lawsuit. tennessee state trooper charles van morgan is in pursuit of kyle anito, a 20-year-old, who was apparently speeding. >> 79 in a 40. >> the blur is a crashed car. it is, in fact, the car of kyle anito. the lawsuit claims that carl van morgan accelerates when he passes the scene of this accident. [ sirens ] >> and he doesn't report the accident that he just passed. then trooper van morgan pulls over to the side of the road. he actually waits here for several minutes. while he is parked here, the dispatcher tells him that there's an accident on the road he is on, so he turns the car around and the car is on fire. >> oh, wow. >> vehicle is on fire. it's at she'll road and andersonville. oh, goodness gracious. no. oh, gosh. >> he then gets out of his car and you can hear him kind of rustling around in the back seat. what he is getting is a fewer extinguisher. he goes near the car, and it looks like he is trying to put the fire out, but the fire is just -- >> got to get in >> according to the lawsuit, that's exactly what kyle's parents are saying. this ultimately resulted in the death of 20-year-old kyle anito. >> i don't think it's this guy's fault. the kid could have been dead upon impact. you know, you can't hang this death on this guy. >> no, i don't think it's the trooper's fault, but do i think the trooper should have stopped and immediately rendered aid? you don't know that he was dead on impact. he could have died from the fire. >> he wouldn't be dead if he didn't run from the cop in the first place. >> let's get back out of the way. >> the highway patrol has moved to terminate trooper charles van morgan, but, of course, he has the right to due process. there's a hearing on whether or not he is going to lose his job on february 9th. nasa lost its grail project, and it captured images from the far side of the moon, images that we don't see. the grail project launched in september of 2011 and these images were captured on january 19th. the grail recovery and interior laboratory is a spacecraft, a lunar spacecraft, and they have two of them named the ebb and flow. they were named by elementary school students as part of the moon camp project. here's the interesting thing. this is the first spacecraft from nasa that's devoted to public service and education, so what happens is these schools sign up for this program. they tell the lunar project where they want the ebb and the flow to take pictures. they take pictures, send them to the school, and then the kids can study them. what an awesome educational tool for these kids, and it's being run by sally rye out of uc san diego. >> of course, sally is the first woman in space. i think it's really cool that we get to see the far side of the moon because it starts at the lunar north pole and then goes to the lunar south pole, and so we see craters and stuff that we normally don't see, and our school kids can look at this stuff. >> it's cool for a little kid to be able to say that, hey, we're controlling something that's way up there in space. >> i mean, that's a great way to get kids engaged. >> and interested in space exploration, the space program, science, and all that good stuff that they need to learn. here's the interesting thing about the ebb and the flow. they're about the size of a washing machine. >> sometimes when you are a spectator at a sporting event, you want to get as close as you can. you want to see what's going on. you want to smell the action. >> we found this video on-line of a guy doing some doughnuts. seems to be fascinating a whole lot of people by merely spinning in circles, and there's a guy in the middle just directing the guy where to go. >> front row seats weren't good enough for that guy. >> he is getting a little too close. >> you think that's the guy to get hurt? >> actually, we've had a few companies call us, and they are definitely interested in seeing his resume for themselves. no interviews yet, but i imagine there will be some in the following weeks. >> when president obama asked you to send over your husband's resume, did you think he was serious? >> well, he is the president. if he says it, i'm going to believe it. >> tell us about the conversation you had with your husband after this. did you say, dear, the president just asked for your resume. >> actually, family called him before i could even tell him,ed they said he was ecstatic. >> tell me about your experience chatting with the president. >> you know what, how many times am i going to get to talk to the president? seriously? you know, it was one shot, and i very much believe when a door opens, you either walk through it or it's going to shut. >> you were even featured on "the daily show." >> if you send me your husband's resume, i would be interested in finding out what's happening right there. >> you're taking resumes?
