animal control officers and concord police swarmed the neighborhood after the boy attacked the 2-year-old. the helicopter landed in the park to air lift her to the hospital where more officers were on hand to investigate. the girl is said to have suffered serious bite wounds to the face and possibly leg but is not in a life threatening condition. >> this point we are doing an investigation relative to the incident that happened. we have the dog in custody at this time. >> reporter: one woman ran to the home to meet with the occupant. she didn't comment. neighbors seem to know very little about the resident saying they only saw them sometimes. some didn't know they had a pit bull. >> i'm not a pit bull fan. everybody has the right to own their own kind of animal but it's not a good environment i guess to put them in the environment with young kids, the dog will react differently. >> reporter: shots news chopper 2 show what happens to be a dog run in the backyard. it was taken in this truck. it's not clear if the dog owner will face charges. >> there is always the potential when we investigate whether or not they had knowledge of the dog having a prior history. if that was the case there is potential they could have some legal, criminal charges if that -- at this point it doesn't appear that's the case. >> surprises you. when you look up and say that's in my backyard. it can happen anywhere. >> reporter: a short time ago the website clay court reported that pit bull has been put down. that's according to law enforcement sources telling that. >> the antioch animal service made an aalarming find, a bit pull changed to a railroad track this picture is avenue the pit bull. she was spotted and rescued before a train came by. the shelter said the dog appeared to have been there a few hour but he is okay. she is now up for adoption and officials have been unable to find her owner or determine whether the dog was put there on purpose. >> a group of protesters holding its ground on a most land in albany that's owned by berkeley. they have been in talks about a peaceful resolution to what people are calling occupy the farm. it started on earth day when a few dozen moved in and planted their own crops at gill track. the land is normally used for a few months each year to do research on crops. one proposal includes sharing the land but the university handcuffs when he took off. police say they know the man's name and where he lives and his offenses aren't that serious but they say this escape puts him in a lot more trouble. >> new information is out about a deadly officer involved shooting in east oakland. the victim is identified as 18- year-old allen dwayne bluford. he was a high school senior. he pointed a gun at an officer and the officer fired hitting him. the officer shot himself in the foot with another bullet . san jose police today identified a man they arrested after police fired at him last night. police say the 24-year-old ran
