We have heard from at least six republicans in the senate that say they are not on board with the legislation as theyve seen it and dont like how this is being rushed through. Its still anybodys guess. And then if the Senate Passed it and pulled out a miracle there, then it has to go to a reconciliation between both chambers and then it goes back for a final vote. This would just be the first step if they pulled it out tomorrow and passed it in the house. Its schoolhouse rock all over again. A lot to digest. And looking at how this would average americans, if it does move forward, you know, studies have shown some of the areas most likely to be negatively affected are trump swing states. Thats right. An abc News Analysis looked at the data from Kaiser Family foundation and voting election data and found that trumps counties trump won by more than 30 could see the biggest losses in their tax credits. So a 40yearold making 30,000 per year under the new plan in counties clinton won would get more than 100 more in their tax credit. But if trump won a county, that person would get nearly 350 less in their tax credit. Its going to impact the counties that trump won the most with this legislation. And we still are waiting for that cbo score. Remember, we got a new one a couple days ago. They still havent scored the one the congressional budget office. The congressional budget office, Nonpartisan Group has to score their to say what the benefit and cost will be to the american taxpayers. The new legislation, they havent gotten there yet.
