Company, the firestorm and what hes now saying this morning. Its a beautiful night and bachelorette shocker. An ending like weve never seen before in series history. Rachel gets her happy ending. Will you marry me . Yes. Its the guy no one expected. The couple flying coast to coast overnight live here this morning. The ring, their plans and is it true love . I think i want to marry you and good morning, america. Hope youre well this Tuesday Morning. It is a good Tuesday Morning for rachel and bryan. Yes, and i know you were up all night, george, watching it because we cant wait for rachel and bryan to join us live this morning after a very dramatic night last night. A lot of people thought she was actually going to pick the runnerup peter but she surprised everybody and picked bryan. A lot of reaction. A lot of reaction to that. Thats coming up. But first, lets get the latest on that Severe Weather that is slamming the country, a powerful storm system stretching all the way from texas to the east coast. Flash floods down south this morning and that possible tornado destroying buildings and cars in maryland. Abcs Stephanie Ramos is on the scene in salisbury for us. Good morning, stephanie. Reporter robin, good morning. The intense winds caused a path of destruction here in salisbury blasting a hole through this building here leaving cinder blocks and debris scattered on the ground, and the storms arent over yet. Lightning, fires and floods. Ooh, ooh. Reporter in maryland, a possible tornado touching down. It sounded like bulls running across the roof. Reporter the violent winds sending vehicles flying. Damaging homes and crumbling buildings. Security footage even showing one car flipping across a parking lot. Plus, a large storm system triggering emergency flash flood warnings in houston this morning, torrential downpours dumping up to 6 inches of rain. The water just like submerged our car. Reporter a similar scene in san antonio, up to a half foot of rain falling fast. Rescue crews saving drivers trapped in rising floodwaters. Its just about going over the hood. Reporter and dangerous lightning strikes sparked numerous house fires throughout texas. Pretty much the whole attic looked like it was on fire. Reporter this, as we see new video from the moment that ef2 touched down in tulsa. Oh, my goodness. It was just black and everything exploded. Reporter the family that shot this cell phone video said they didnt have time to escape the powerful twister. They yelled get away from the window and next thing were underneath the debris. Reporter thankfully no one seriously injured here in salisbury, but the mayor tells me itll take some time for families and businesses to recover from the damage. Robin. Thinking of everybody there, stephanie, thank you. W to ginger with more. Mialready performed this morning in houston. You can see some of the images coming out. New numbers now indicate more than 8 inches of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours, 6 of it came in just 6 hours from about midnight till 6 00 a. M. This is all from a stationary front and its still going. The flash flood warnings still in place near houston there, mississippi back through arkansas. That stationary front doesnt move a lot, it bubbles around and you will see more rain, birmingham back through central mississippi, even Central Georgia including atlanta, a lot of rain today. George. Okay, ginger, thanks. Were going to move now to the latest on President Trump. He is camped out in bedminster, new jersey, meeting at his golf club with his Health Secretary tom price. How to handle Insurance Companies facing the loss of government funds. At the top of the agenda. The opioid crises as well. Vice president pence expected later this weekend. A government report shows Climate Change has had a dramatic impact, and thats at odds with the president and his top official. No word on whether they will dismiss or address the report. Trumps support from his base is slipping. Strong approval of the president has dropped from 73 in february to 59 now. Lets get more on this from our chief White House Correspondent jon karl and, jon, lets begin with the polls right there. The president was tweeting yesterday his base is getting bigger every day. This poll at odds with that. Reporter directly at odds with that and, george, weve seen the president s numbers come down as weve mentioned before. Historically low for a president this early in his first term. And, george, the team at the white house really has a choice here to make. Does the president try to reverse those numbers by expanding his base, by reaching out to those who are not traditional trump supporters, or do they further try to energize his base and it seems that thats the direction that they believe that he needs to go, which is to go further to the right, further to energize and to get going his hardcore supporters but right now those supporters seem to be soften and that certainly seems to be the tactic the president is taking with his tweets. Yesterday, that extended tirade against senator richard blumenthal, attacking him for failing to serve in vietnam even though he was in the marine reserves at the time, and this comes from a president who didnt serve at all. Reporter exactly right, who actually got more deferments than senator blumenthal and hes also been going at the New York Times quite aggressively. Most of his tweets over the last 24, 36 hours have been about Sidney Blumenthal or about tth the New York Times, continuing to call the New York Times the failing the New York Times, so much so that the times is responding, george, and put out a statement to respond to the president on this. Take a look at this. The times saying the facts matter. We just reported 3. 3 million paid subscription, our most ever, and our stock is up nearly 50 this year directly responding to the president and trying to speak in the president s own language. The president already up and active on twitter. He seems simply to be doing a running commentary on fox friends and retweeting their stories. Reporter its really something else, george. Weve seen this over and over again. This morning, most interesting is he retweeted a story on fox and friends that seems to be based on a leak of classified information about spy satellites over north korea, u. S. Spy satellites, exactly the kind of leaks that the white house has been condemning, but there the president is apparently interested in whats on fox friends. And whats so strange about that, presumably this is the kind of thing he could learn from his own intelligence officials, yet he seems to publicize it when he sees it on television. Reporter he gets the president ial Daily Briefing a little later in the morning. The first brief apparently is fox friends. Jon karl, thanks very much. Robin. Quite bizarre. Tech world. Google firing an engineer a document that questions google saying the memo promotes gender stereotypes. Abcs nick watt has the details, joins us from los angeles. Good morning, nick. Reporter good morning, robin. Well, googles ceo reportedly rushing back from vacation to handle the fallout from this tenpage memo that was written by a male engineer and it includes lines like women on average have more neuroticism and abilities of men and women differ in part due to biological causes. These differences may explain why we dont see equal representation of women in tech and leadership. He also accuses google of a leftwing bias. Now, late yesterday the 28yearold engineer james damore was fired. Googles ceo saying, portions of the memo violate our code of conduct and cross the line by advancing harmful gender stereotypes in our workplace. Now, damore trending on twitter overnight and splitting opinions slammed by some for a perceived misogynist point of view. Others saying he was gagged accusing the search engine, goliath. Google already fending off a lawsuit from the department of labor alleging discrimination, google, which does employ more men than women, denies the charge and claims not to have a gender pay gap. Robin. So what is the fired engineer saying this morning . Well, this morning he is confirming by email to news outlets that he was fired for, he says, perpetuating gender stereotypes and he is right now, he says, exploring possible legal remedies. The story, robin, far from over. The story and the issue far from over. All right, nick, thank you. Absolutely. Fierce debate. We switch gears to down south. A manhunt for the killer of a Police Officer during a routine traffic stop in missouri. The victims family is speaking out as the dragnet continues to grow. Abcs alex perez is on the scene in clinton, missouri. Reporter good morning, george. Authorities say this all happened very quickly. The officer pulled the suspect over and within seconds the suspect was shooting at him. This morning, an allout manhunt for a suspect theyre calling a coldblooded killer. Ian mccarthy accused of shooting and killing rookie officer gary michael. Shots fired. Officer down. Officer down. I repeat, officer down. Reporter sunday night, around 10 45, officer michael pulled mccarthy over because his headlights were out. Mccarthy, police say, immediately getting out of his vehicle and shooting at the office who was able to return fire even after he was shot, but the suspect sped away. Suspect believed to be running on foot from that location, subject is still armed. Reporter the 39yearold has an extensive criminal background including an outstanding 2013 arrest warrant for assault and at least a dozen other criminal charges in new hampshire. It was cowardly for him to just jump out and ambush officer michael like that. Reporter officer michael was an army vet, stepfather of two, and had only been with the force for about a year. Hes my hero. Right. Hes my big brother. Thats it. He was always the light of my world. I will miss him but i had a great time with him. Reporter and Family Members say officer michael always wanted to be a Police Officer and he was doing his dream job, some 60 investigators now working this case around the around the clock. Robin. So sad. Alex, thanks. Now to another manhunt. Police in ohio are looking for two men suspected of opening fire during an apparent road rage incident and shooting a 4yearold boy. Just the latest in a spike of violent road rage incidents all across the country, and abcs diane macedo is here with those details. Good morning, diane. Robin, good morning. This cleveland mother was driving with two kids in the car when she says they were followed then shot at, all this after she honked her horn. This morning, Cleveland Police are warning the public after a 4yearold boy was shot in the head in a possible road rage incident. The boys mother says it all started when she honked her horn at a stopped car sunday. The car then followed her and opened fire. Police say the suspects are still on the loose, warning there may have been two gunmen. These people are very violent and dont have much regard for human incident comes just two days in dallas pointing a gun directly at another driver. Somebody like that needs to be off the street. Reporter Victoria Best says she started filming when she noticed the car in front of her driving erratically. Police now say they have identified a possible suspect. Were waiting for phone calls to see if he pointed the gun at anybody else. Reporter a recent analysis found incidents involving a gun more than doubled from 248 in 2014 to 627 last year. Last month the driver of this red pickup truck was charged with first degree murder after allegedly shooting and killing an 18yearold over a traffic merge. Somebody didnt want her to merge into a lane of traffic. And because of that a young woman is dead today. Reporter and such a sad story but lucky for this 4yearold boy in cleveland, it seems his will not end that way. He survived that shooting and were told hes in serious condition but expected to recover. Oh, that is good news. All right, diane, thank you very much. What is going on . Crazy. It is crazy out there. Were going to turn now to a family thats searching for answers after their dog died in the cargo hold of a United Airlines plane when their flight was delayed on the tarmac for two hours. Jim avila has the story. Reporter lulu was part of the family, 5 years old, a cavalier king charles spaniel. Her owners say their vet signed off on lulus health, so she was loaded into the cargo section of a united flight from houston to san francisco. The flight was delayed on the ground in houston for two hours according to lulus family Facebook Post which reports, when we went to pick her up, she was dead. United has a special animal cargo policy and facilities called petsafe that include air conditioned, climatecontrolled holds in the air, on board transport vehicles and warehouses on the ground. Their website assures pet owners of comfort in any weather conditions and that pets will be the last ones loaded and the first ones off the planes cargo area. Still, according to the department of transportations statistics, from 2014 through 2016, of the 26 pet deaths during transport, united had nine, more than any other u. S. Carrier. The Humane Society warns that cargo hold travel should always be a last resort and in the summer, middle of the day flights should be avoided and some dogs should not fly at all. R family, lulu had a what we call a smooshedin face which made her more susceptible to the extreme heat conditions. Reporter the airline says in a statement they are so sorry to learn of lulus passing. Theyve offered condolences and assistance to the family and promise a thorough review of the incident. Another tip from the Humane Society, if you must bring your dog along and its too big to fit under the seat, personally tell the pilot or copilot that the dog is there or a Flight Attendant because they can then watch out and be extra vigilant about whether or not its too hot in the cargo area. George. That does make sense. Okay, jim, thanks very much. Were going to move on now to new developments in that hbo hack. Emails from one of the companys top executives has been leaked online along with secret scripts from game of thrones as the hackers demand a huge ransom. Abcs linzie janis is here with the story. Good morning, linzie. Reporter good morning, george, the hackers dumping more data this morning, bragging that their hack of hbo is the biggest leak in the cyberspace era. It comes just as the Network Aired the fourth episode in the latest season of its game of thrones to more than 30 Million Viewers worldwide. Overnight, another massive data dump from the hbo hackers. Among the second round of files, emails from an executive at the company, as well as more documents related to game of thrones, including an upcoming script from an unaired episode and financial Balance Sheets for the company. The Hollywood Reporter received a message from the hacker demanding ransom from hbo. The hacker claims the network is their 17th target and it took six months to access the companys database. A rep for hbo says while the investigation is still ongoing, the review to date has not given us reason to believe that our email system as a whole has been compromised. The massive cyberhack week. To fathom. It really is. Reporter hackers stealing 1. 5 terabytes of data, seven times bigger than the 2014 attack on Sony Pictures and equivalent to about 500 hours worth of movies. I see quite a lot there. Unaired episodes of hbo shows ballers and room 104 have also surfaced online. The company is using Cyber Security firms and Law Enforcement working around the clock to try to solve this issue. I bet they are. Absolutely. Thank you, linzie. Thank you, linzie. Jury selection has begun in her suit against a deejay she accuses of groping her. He is also suing her for getting him fired. Abcs Clayton Sandell is at the courthouse in denver. Good morning, clayton. Reporter and good morning, george. One of the first things today both sides will start narrowing down that list of potential jurors but one of the big challenges is finding a jury that can be impartial when theres a superstar in the courtroom. Security at the denver federal courthouse this morning is tight. Opening statements expected today in taylor swift versus david mueller. We got problems reporter the megastar with more than 100 million instagram followers battling a former country radio deejay, accusing him of grabbing her from behind during this meet and greet in 2013. This photo leaked to tmz evidence. Mueller denies anything inappropriate suing swift alleging she got him fired. I knew you were trouble when you walked in reporter the two facetoface in front of potential jurors who answered questions, have you ever considered yourself a fan of taylor swift . Have you ever gone to a taylor swift concert . Jury experts say swifts celebrity can be a big advantage. Miss swifts team will want somebody who just sees stars when they see taylor swift and is going to believe everything that comes out of her mouth. Reporter potential jurors also face tougher questions like, have you ever been inappropriately touched or been wrongly accused of inappropriately touching someone. One man said he could not be impartial because a friend was once sexually assaulted. He was dismissed. Fair and impartial is certainly what the goal is, but anybody who is working for one team or the other, youre going to be looking for the juror that you think is going to be siding more with your view of the case. Reporter on that infamous it but i now, the goal here is to have eight jurors seated by noon, then opening statements. Now taylor swift is required to be here for the entire nineday trial and she is expected to testify. George. Okay, clayton, thanks. Lets talk to dan abrams about this. He laid it out. Its pretty tricky to pick a jury in these circumstances, starting with taylor swifts celebrity. Thats right and the first thing you do have a form where the jurors answer all these questions and one of them is, are you a taylor swift fan . Do you have Family Members who are taylor swift fans and get rid of the super fans. They arent making it onto the jury. You dont have any concerns about that. You have more of a concern, the people who know her to some degree, have Family Members who know her. Like her, et cetera. But i think its actually sometimes easier than we make it out to be. Meaning, yes, there are a lot of taylor swift fans out there but there are a lot of people out there who dont know that much about her. And you see that in all these highprofile cases. You are able to find people who dont know that much about her and about the case. What are the other challenges here. I think the most important issue, and that was the other question that was mentioned is, have you or someone you care about or love ever been the victim of a Sexual Assault . Remember, this is a celebrity case, yes, but in reality this is a Sexual Assault case. I mean, taylor swift is saying she was sexually assaulted. Lets not forget that in the context of taylor swift and bigtime celebrity, et cetera. This is about credibility. Its about a guy who got fired from his job saying it was based on a lie and its about taylor swift saying i was sexually assaulted and decided to stand up for myself. Those are the kind of issues that are more important than figuring out who you want on the jury than taylor swift fan, not taylor swift fan, et cetera, because the creditable, not just of taylor swift the celebrity but of taylor swift the person and if this deejay, the person, based on what theyre saying happened becomes critical in the case. Thats going to be the thing that everybody has to wipe away once theyre sitting on the jury pool, the personas around the two people. And it comes just will come down to their testimony. And thats why i said this yesterday, her testimony becomes critical. The only way i think she really has a danger of losing this case is if shes terrible on the witness stand. If she doesnt come across as credible. Its a really tough case for him. And as a result, hes going to have to be terrific and credible, so those are the key issues in the case. Dan abrams, thanks very much. Robin. All right, george now to a new twist in that model kidnapping case where a british woman says she was abducted, drugged and threatened with being auctioned online. An arrest has been made but now there are new questions about her story. Abcs James Longman has those details. Reporter this morning, british model chloe ayling with her family after meeting with authorities, recounting what she says was her abduction, allegedly drugged, bound and stuffed inside a suitcase to be sold on the internet, the socalled dark web. The 20yearold recalling her ordeal to reporters after her return home sunday. Ive been through a terrifying experience. I feared for my life second by second minute by minute hour by hour. Reporter now, italian media are questioning some aspects of her story claiming ayling burst into tears when police asked her why she was seen shoe shopping with one of her captors during the time when she was allegedly held hostage. Saying she had previously met her captor in paris in april and during the three interrogations ayling insisting there were five assailants but investigators so far only have two people of interest. Back now with a consumer alert about staying safe when you use apps to buy and sell secondhand items. Millions use them but police are now warning they can also be magnets for criminals. Abcs Mara Schiavocampo is here with important ways to protect yourself. Good morning, mara. Reporter michael, good morning, these apps have become the most popular ways to sell secondhand items boasting more than 20 billion in sales. Unlike with sites like ebay these are all local exchanges set up through an app and require buyers and sellers to meet facetoface. The transactions are easier than ever. But in some cases theyre also more risky. Its an easy way to make fast cash. Use an app to post an item you want to sell, wait for the highest offer you agree to meet in a specific location. Reporter but safety expert and former Police DetectiveSteve Kardian warns sellers and buyers to beware of the person you might meet. Reporter this woman says she took what she thought were all the right precautions when selling an ipad on the app offer up. She met the potential buyer in a populated Community Center parking lot and she brought her motherinlaw and son with her. But she says they were robbed. The only thing that they ake was my personal cell were selling. You are loved on todays big board, an eyeopening study about instagram. Researchers at harvard have found it can help diagnose depression. The study found thathotos but the colors, and clinical psychologist dr. Elizabeth lombardo is joining us now. Dr. Lombardo, thank you for joining us. Tell us about the findings in the story. Yes, so what they did, they looked at the accuracy of diagnosing depression and compared general practitioners with using an algorithm they developed looking at instagram photos and they found while general practitioners were able to correctly diagnose depression 42 of the time, using the Artificial Intelligence they were actually 50 more accurate. Now, we have to remember these are general practitioners. They arent psychologists or psychiatrists. They arent always focused on the mood. And they might say go see a specialist to follow up. We want to put up stock photos to give people an idea what were talking about. Because the study found that there were certain filters that suggest youre more or less likely to be depressed. Exactly. So, first of all, people who are healthier tend to use filters and they tend to use, like we see here, the valencia filter, which brings out the color. Now, you contrast that with people with depression who tend not to use a filter, they dont care about how they look, and if they did use a filter, it tended to be the inkwell which would take the colors out. Im wondering about myself right now. Sometimes i use a filter and go with the black and white. I think it sometimes looks good. But they also found theres a social aspect as well about the number of people in the photos. Exactly. So people who are depressed tended to have less number of faces in their photos. You know, when you think about depression, one of the cornerstone symptoms is social withdrawal so this could be indicative that they arent spending as much time with their friends and family. Now, the results of this study ssion can affect absolutely anyone so just keep an eye on our family, our friends, even ourselves, to see if these are happening in us. Great advice, doc. We are going to turn to a fascinating story in the New York Times about nfl hundreds of them are turning to a private Facebook Page sharing advice on how to deal with their husbands health. Fears about concussions and the pressures that come with life in professional football. Deborah roberts is here with the story. Hey, deborah. Reporter good morning, george, and all the rest of you. This is a very important group. Its a social Network Group unlike weve ever seen not about sharing photos but a private society of women who can honestly share their joys, pain and worries about a complicated and sometimes painful life that many of us can never truly understand. With the regular season just weeks away, many are thinking about football. But for the wives and families of nfl players every day can feel like game day. So many worried about injuries and chronic traumatic encephalopathy, brain trauma affecting a growing number of players. To cope, a special sisterhood has developed on facebook. The group filled with wives, daughters and widows of current and former nfl players. Its founder whose husband played ten nfl seasons telling us, the purpose of the page is meant to be a supportive measure to a silent partner of the nfl family. One of those partners janet dorsett. Its a safe place for us to be able to come and basically talk about anything. Reporter her husband halloffamer tony has been diagnosed with early signs of cte. She says the forum is a place to talk to other women about her issues. Its hard to deal with a lot of what we deal with and in particular with a husband who may start to show signs of brain trauma and do it on a public stage. Reporter some wives saying the group of roughly 2,000 has been a lifesaver, offering a private place to put their pain, questions and worries. I may not have met any of these women but ive met them through facebook and thats enough for me. Reporter janet mccoy saying it was a crucial line of support joining the group after losing her husband mike to dementia last year. The retired packers cornerback diagnosed with the disease in his 50s. A lot of it has to do with what were dealing with as wives, how to best take care of our husbands. The one thing that i felt strongly about is validating a wifes feeling. It doesnt make any difference if they think theyre alone, theyre not. So many of us have gone through the same thing. Reporter for jordan nelson whose husband cory is a fourth year linebacker for the broncos its a safe place to ask questions about life in the league. Last year my husband and i went through an agent change and i was able to private message someone in the group who had been through the same thing. Things like that that maybe regular friends cant relate to. Things like with family issues, you know, like getting cut, traded, those types of things are things that we discuss. Reporter so though they dont meet in person many in this nfl family saying they really get to know each other and trust each other. Janet dorsett even pointing some of them to programs that the nfl already has in place and as for the nfl, the group telling us overnight that it does provide a number of programs offline designed to serve, educate and assist players and their families during and after their careers offering assistance for their mental, emotional, physical and Financial Wellbeing and, guys, they truly do need it. We see the sport, and michael, you know we see it as glamorous, but these Family Members deal with a lot. I think its glamorous and love to say how brave it is and how much of a warrior these players are but i think its even more brave to see their wives of retired players who have lost their husbands to some of these issues and current Young Players who are all coming together to share their stories. Thats bravery to me to just let other people know hey, were going through this and were here to help you. Banding together. Banding together creating your own team. Really amazing part of the story as well. Some of them just posting not necessarily talking, just posting prayers, supporting each other, a sisterhood online. Thank you, deborah. Outside to ginger. And, rachel, you were in a very precarious situation yesterday with peter. And what if peter had proposed to you as well . Were you ready to face two proposals . Well, no. I mean if you you see the emotional breakup that peter and i had and he was ready to propose, but at that point i knew that he wasnt the one for me. And it was really important for me to not have two men standing up there at the end. If i knew what i was going to do then i wanted to send someone home send that person home the night before. How tough was it to face peter live last night . Im sure you probably havent seen him since your last encounter. Oh yeah i hadnt seen peter since what you saw last night. It was more frustrating to see peter than anything else. That was a frustrating breakup. Im sure it was and was it hard for you, bryan . Was it hard for you to see peter last night . So when you were making that movie did you realize that you were changing the movie world . Well maybe. Oh you got that thing up. Yeah that was the first the first one we shot it in 70 millimeter black and white. Wow. And then gave it to a bunch of ladies in korea and they hand tinted every frame. Wow. Any patchy drizzle starts drying at about 9 00 on your 12hour day planner. Temperatures a bit below average, 60s at the coast 70s around the bay and 80s inland this afternoon. My accuweather sevenday forecast, even cooler sunday and monday. This Weather Report brought to you volkswagen. How do that. Zelienople. I knew that pennsylvania. Were here with wanda and Bernie Saunders the wife and brother of the late and beloved sports broadcaster and dear friend of mine John Saunders who passed away last august from natural causes. Now, john he was a dear friend and for so many he was just that and a mentor and in a moment well talk about his new book that he is calling playing hurt but first a look at the wonderful man John Saunders. He was quite simply one of the best. Congratulations to the National Champion texas longhorns. Reporter John Saunders the legendary espn sportscaster hosting and covering everything from College Football to basketball to hockey for nearly three decades. Im John Saunders. Reporter his infectious laugh. Tuesday night baseball reporter goon too soon when he passed away last august at the age of 61. Our generous and talented and beloved colleague John Saunders has died. Reporter but his legacy lives on through his family and now in the memoir john finished just before his death, playing hurt, my turn xi from despair to hope. John reveals the lifelong battle with depression he kept hidden in hopes that sharing his story would let others know you are not alone. And i know that we will never be alone. Our dear friend and inspiration always in our hearts. And though this is going to be a difficult but very meaningful conversation would you please show your appreciation for wanda and Bernie Saunders for being here. [ applause ] how a doing today . Very well. I think its take one day at a time and thats the best that you can do. Yeah. Same thing. I believe in happy mornings and he had a great life and were trying to celebrate his great 61 years. Yes he had a great 61 years and you learn so much in reading about his book and the love of his life right here, how he adored his big brother his little brother as well and jenna and aaliyah, the light of his life the two daughters, how are they doing. Theyre doing well. Everybody is working and were just pushing along, you know. What you have to do because i know in a couple of days it will be one year since we lost him. Yes, it will. I read it from cover to cover and ive known i knew john for a long time and did not realize the challenges that he was facing and we had talked about the book before he passed. He told me about it. Was it a relief to him that he was going to get this side about this very deep dark depression or was he anxious about it . Ervous about people knowing his story. I think he was really excited about it. People like you, you say make your mess your message, basically he was trying to do that. He basically went to a program at the white house and it was basically on depression and Mental Health and he came back and said he felt like a phony because he had dealt with in for so long and he wanted to come out and help other people. What was his hope in helping other people and with the book wanda. Helping to let you know that you can get past this and that there is a Silver Lining and that you can get help. And its possible to move forward and he was. Yes, he was and people need to realize that. Yes. Thats why when the untimely death of cau stunned us all opening the boo reading the book and he talks about Tappan Zee Bridge and how he thought about taking his own life and he didnt. So bernie i ask you, if somebody is feeling that way at this moment watching us what would john say to that person, what do you say to that person . The message is very clear, john was best friends with jimmy valvano. Part of the v foundation and jimmys message dont ever give up so with depression one step at a time one day at a time. You know one step forward and then keep hanging in there and thats what john did. He fought every day, the title is playing hurt and thats what he did, he fought every day but he felt hurt every day. He talks glowingly throughout the book about both of you and that your good intentions in saying yes, cheerleader. Cheerleader and a lot of people going through depression and they say you think youre doing as a Family Member you think youre doing the right thing so wake up in the morning and be happy. You know and that we learned as we went through this with him that that doesnt always work for everybody. You have to let the person figure it out and you also along with having a good doctor and having medication then you figure out how you do this but its natural for your Family Member to want to you know be a cheerleader. He said you were the most beautiful woman he ever met. So very true. Wanda wanda, bernie thank you. My love to you and he lives on with so many young people. He was a great mentor. Yes. To me as well and a friend. Thank you. Thank you so much. [ applause ] thank you, guys. Playing hurt is out right now. Well isaac hou has mastered gravity defying moves to amaze his audience.
