The first president since Calvin Coolidge in 1928 to visit cuba. This visit does not come without controversy. I asked president obama about a visit to cuba more than a year ago overnight explaining to me why the time is right. Theres no doubt that the cuban government is still a one party state exerting control and is stifling dissent. Hes already searing cuban entrepreneurs blossom. You hear them saying if we dont lift the embargo other countries will get the deals. Theres no doubt we have work to do and part is bringing an end to the embargo that is currently in place. Does that happen during your presidency . It may not happen between now and then particularly since were in Election Year but it is inevitable. You see the young people all gathered on the street corners to borrow the wifi. Fewer than 5 here have access to the internet. Thats part of why the changes can be so significant and one of the things well be announcing is that google has a deal. To set up more wifi and Broadband Access on the island. Which was more than he asked for but also electing to literally punish gawker with punitive damages on top of that. Were back here at court today to decide on a number. How are you feeling . This morning, an enormous victory for hulk hogan and his invasion of privacy battle against gawker. A jury deliberating for just six hours before awarding him 115 million. Once the verdict was read, hulk hogan bursting into tears and hugging his legal team. This is not only his victory but also anyone else who has been victimized by tabloid journalism. Reporter earlier in the trial, hogan telling the jury the tape that showed him having sex in 2007 with thenwife of his best friend at the time, bubba clem, turned his world upsidedown. Completely humiliating. Reporter in closing arguments his lawyer portraying gawk founder as a danger to society. Everybody is some sort of a public figure. No matter how much you hate gawker and you side with hulk hogan, 115 million verdict before the punitive damages, meaning before the point where theyre supposed to be punishing gawker makes no sense. The idea that theyre giving economic damages in this case to hulk hogan, 55 million that he supposedly suffered economically as a result of this makes no sense. So, i think theyve got a very good chance of getting this reduced significantly on appeal. Gawker has a good case for the appeal. Yes. Lot of people saying, no, problem, theyll go to the Appellate Court and theyre going to throw this out. Im not so sure. If im gawker im still incredibly nervous and concerned. Yes, im confident that an Appellate Court will reduce the amount of this verdict. 115 million to 40 million. When it comes to economic and emotional damages. Gawker is still in big trouble. The phase were about to see the next day or so, where theyll punish them. That phase is . The punitive damages. Its supposed to be the time where they reward hogan with what he deserves and time to punish gawker with money. It seems pretty clear they have punished gawker with a lot of money. Lot of people are saying, hey, this is great news if youre worried about these tabloids being able to say anything about you and youre saying, maybe not so fast. I think this is going to have a big impact on anyone trying to publish a sex tape. Thats going to be the impact its going to have but well have to see what happens. He is of course the First American present to visit cuba since Calvin Coolidge back in 1928. You see him walking up the red carpet of the palace of the revolution. In a few moments the president will be greeted by president raul castro, 84 years old, of course the brother of fidel castro, the founding present of the state of cuba. He and his brother together have ruled cuba together with an iron fist for nearly six decades. You see the president now approaching the palace. Inside an honor guard of the cuban military. The president will also be meeting with president raul castro later today, holding a joint press statement, press availability as well, before a state dinner tonight. And you know its a meeting that also shows one thing that is yet to be done here with the president s policy. When he announced this dramatic change, reopening diplomatic relations with cuba, he said that he would visit this country if there were signs of improvement to the human rights situation, and frankly, one thing we have not seen since diplomatic relations have been reestablished is any improvement. In fact, 50 dissidents were arrested just a few miles from here. Human Rights Groups say 25 dissidents were arrested in this country just in the first two months of this year. As the president makes this historic visit here, meeting facetoface with raul castro here in havana, this is still a country that is very much a oneparty state, a country where it is dangerous to be critical of the government. And david muir spoke with the president yesterday and will sit down with him today after he meets with president castro. What do you expect to be the focus of that meeting . Reporter listen, he told me that hes going to be very frank with president castro. The meeting will be a private one where the president said that raul castro already understands that change is coming to cuba, george. The only question is how much president castro can actually control the pace of that. And the real test here will be the president s historic speech on Live Television here to the cuban people. I asked the president how strongly he would word that speech, will he take on their president during that speech, will there be a berlin wall moment. He told me that essentially that wall moment has happened here. Business has begun to open up, entrepreneurs are blossoming, but he said expect him to be very honest with the cuban people that there needs to be reform here when it comes to human rights and the freedoms of ordinary cuban people, george. An ultra sound scan and newborn photos of her now 3yearold son. The british paper reporting that one of adeles fans came across the photos and decided to alert the adeles management team. Saying i was appalled and upset when i saw the pictures. They are really private and should not be passed around. The report also claims that adeles photos were obtained from the email of her boyfriend, simon konecki. Adele isnt the first celebrity targeted by hackers. The annescicloud after vacation photos of harry stiles and Kendall Jenner were allegely stolen and leaked online saturday. In 2014 a major hack leaked racy photos to the public. Targeting more than 100 celebs including Jennifer Lawrence and kate upton. The fbi is still investigating this case. One of the person responsible, pleading guilty of felony. Facing anywhere from 18 months to 5 years behind bars. Reporter while adele is known for letting her voice take center stage shes kept her personal life far from the spotlight. She even battled the paparazzi back in 2014 after photos taken over her and her son and won. She works very hard to keep her private life private. This was a major violation for her. That little twist. They sometimes happen without my help. I was doing one that will be out in a couple of years, the main character killed his best friend. How did that happen . Very loosely based on his life, coming out to his Catholic Parents and his mother who was not happy about him being homosexual and really had to learn how to accept him and, you know, i dont know, be his advocate which she did eventually become. Were sort of telling the story of that relationship and how, you know, perfect son is changing her idea of what family devotion is about. You find the laughs in it. It is a great show.
