Some of that is tracking the next seven days, which will feature more wet weather. But we are starting out with live doppler 7hd which shows some cloud cover. Looks like rain, but really it is not reaching the ground. This is a weak system that will visit north of i80 or so and bring some showers to the sierra, maybe some snow. And for the bay area some clouds from time to time. And overnight we could see a sprinkle in the north bay. Otherwise we will have partly cloudy skies throughout the day today. Temperatures look like this with about 50 in oakland and morgan hill. Weve got low 50s from San Francisco, Mountain View good morning. Half moon bay. The winds are dialing back, the surf is dialing back, and we are looking a couple of days of High Pressure and stable atmosphere. Warmer days. 43 napa. 48 by the delta, 350 concord. As the High Pressure settles in the nights will be chilly. We had the clear skies last night so we woke up to some 30s here. With a little bit of fog it will be a little chilly out there the next several morning. This afternoon we will have more clouds likely. Milder, and the rain looks like it will return by the end of the week. Perhaps as soon as thursday night but a little too soon to tell. The models kind of stepy, but it looks which by the weekend we me some rain. Everyone is looking toward the last week of january, february, where more rain is likely to add to the totals. Over 13icches of rain in San Francisco. 108 of normal. Look at Mountain View with nearly 8 inches of rain, 112 of normal. San jose 121 of normal. Oakland lagging behind a bit but well get there. In fact the snowpack is justing just as good. 115 of normal for the central sierra. Just a year ago 30 of normal and that kept dwindling through the winter time. Its looking good. The extend outlook, we go out about 16 days or so and looks like we are looking at more rain headed our way. This is the weak system i will talked about overnight. Maybe providing the sprinkle for the north bay, but other than that it will be dry for the next several days. Then the clouds return and the rain by the weekend. So the system in the sierra, clouding up today, 38 there. 55 fresno. A few showers in the san joaquin valley. 60s for southern california. Midand upper 50s, partly cloudy skies, right where we should be. Accuweather sevenday forecast, High Pressure builds through the day tomorrow and that will allow for milder averages. Cool nights, sunny days with temperatures increasing. So by the time we get to that weather system by the weekend, snow levels will be quite high so it looks like rain in the sierra. About you a little too soon, as i said, to pinpoint amounts.
