Concord police say the 8yearold was playing in front of his own home when he was shot in his upper body. Two white males in a silver color honda drove up to the residence and fired one single shot. Reporter from sky 7 hd, you can see investigators with flashlights searching for evidence. Police say they do not know if the home was targeted but they do say they are familiar with the address. Officers have been called out recently nor various disturbances. We want to know why, why these guys would shoot especially with children in front of the house. Police say the boys family initially drove him to john mere Medical Center then taken to Childrens Hospital in oakland.
