School leaders posted alerts last night on the campus website and social media pages about an investigation into a threat overheard in a conversation. A student says that a bunch of strangers thursday he overheard them refer to a gun and a campus shooting planned for some time today. The school will be open but people on campus are advised to report any suspicious activity. Police say theyve arrested a 16yearold boy in connection with a phony bomb threat at malpitas high school. Students were evacuated from their crass room. The threat forced them to close for the day while police certificatesearched the campus for anything dangerous. They believe the suspect called in the threat from a pay phone. Happening now Funeral Services have begun for walter scott, the unarmed black driver shot and killed by a white Police Officer in south carolina. Scotts family and friends will honor him. Scott tied after an ins tent captured on video when officer Michael Flager shot him in the back. Slager stopped for a broken taillight. They claim the two had fought over the officers taser.
