Developing news out of millbrae, where a man is in the hospital after the big rig he was driving overturned. It happened around 3 00 this morning on southbound 101 on the on ramp at millbrae avenue. Authorities say somehow the truck overturned, spilling produce across the roadway. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle, crews had to use the jaws of life to free him. He was taken to the hospital, no word on his condition. There were no other vehicles involved. The onramp remains blocked to traffic. Developing news out of the east bay this morning one person is dead after a Police Pursuit ended in a crash near the san Leandro Oakland border. It happened just before 9 00 last night. Police say man suspected of robbing a radio shack on washington avenue got into a vehicle and took off. Officers gave chase, but lost him. A short time later, they spotted the vehicle, which had crashed into a building on san leandro street. The suspect and a female passenger were thrown from the car. The woman died at the scene. The man was taken into custody. Happening now, a heads up for drivers in San Francisco. A major thoroughfare out of the city is shut down. And will be throughout this memorial day holiday weekend. Warning signs are posted, and locals have firsthand knowledge of the danger. Ear infections are the most common thing. And that has happened a few times in the past.
