The flooding may be to blame for the death of a person in the north bay. Sergio quintana is live from the Mill Valley Police department. Reporter the police are trying to determine that they were called to greenwood way this morning, around 10 00. That is in a neighborhood that has some pretty steep and narrow streets. After someone spotted an overturned suv that had gone down a gulley. This is a neighborhood that cuts into the side of mill valley. So, marin county search and russia teams were called in to search and rescue teams were called in to help and the search was expand. After a couple of hours a body was found in a backyard of a nearby home. Police have not determined if that person was the driver of the crashed suv, and they havent figure out what caused the crash. Could be weatherrelated. We dont know that. It could be a medical reason. It could have been some other type of reason, or could have been a mechanical failure. We dont know. The police say the Coroners Office is collecting in the body and the medical investigator will determine a cause of death. The place on plates on the suv trace back to someone who lives in the neighborhood, and as i was talking to the lieutenant i asked her if the person who was found in that backyard happens to live at that home, and she declined to answer that question. Across the county, more than half a foot of rain fell overnight. This oak tree is being reduced to firewood. It came crashing down, barely missing the house and taking out the fence and their toyota. At routes 121 and 12, rising water spilling from the sonoma creek made the road unpassable. And crews can only keep a watchful eye. The road is officially closed but that hasnt stopped some of the locals from using this as an opportunity to have a little fun. The water is coming from inside the building. Getting a reverse high drawlic effect. Creek was pushing water through the storm drains, into the building, and then also all of our floor drains, toilets, and other drains were taking water on. So we were actually filling up from the insideout, versus taking water on from the outsidein. Reporter the last night the 2 00 a. M. Club notice get to live up to the name. Around 1 00, patrons were told to leave. It was closed done. There was three inches of water behind the bar and in the back of the building and cleanup has been going on for much of the day. The suspect led police on a short chase and tried to ram a squad car. The man waved the shotgun at officers, who then shot him. The Highway Patrol believes alcohol may have led to a wrongway crash that killed six people in los angeles county. A chevy camaro was driving survived but suffered serious injuries. St. Helena, 12 inches there, lesser amounts towards thepiece south in your backyard you probably have seen a little bit more than maybe what that graphic indicated, but all of the reservoirs and all of the Water Monitoring stations around the bay area will be getting those totals in and well have a complete list for you tomorrow. Boy, the fog is going to be a problem tonight and tomorrow as well. The exploratorium cam, temperatures right now across the bay area in the upper 50s to low 60s.
