The Silicon Valley journal reports the transportation su Security Administration is investigating. Only certain individuals who have gone through security clearance are allowed to access certain restricted areas of the airport. Signature has a client base of wealthy business and tech executives who use their jets. The company gave the journal this statement, saying, quote, we can confirm there thats there is an Ongoing Investigation by the tsa which Signature Flight support has and continues to cooperate fully with. They are still trying to figure out exactly what they are dealing with here. When we were closer, we could see that there was part of a body lying on the trail. No ambulance has been called. We didnt see any movement. It does appear to be a dead body here in the bernal bernheights. Police wont say whether they think a homicide happened here but they do have crime tape up and police are searching the area and they did push us back and their perimeter further out so this investigation is just now getting going. Hes believed to be the last person who saw piseth chhay, a husband and father who hasnt been seen now for 11 days. Chhay was going to meet tang on the day he disappeared. Investigators do not think he was connected to other indecent exposure cases on the peninsula. Happening today, Marin General Hospital conducting a mass casualty disaster drill. Current patients at the hospital are not expected to be impacted. The white house is dismissing a report today that a new Republican Health care bill would leave millions of americans uninsured. The Nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimates 23 million more people would be left without insurance by 2026 if the house version passes in the senate. The report found it would raise deductibles and lessen coverage mostly for seniors and those with preexisting conditions. Now, at certain airports, the tsa is asking travelers to separate certain items. The wall street journal reports that the tsa is testing new procedures at security checkpoints. They include asking passengers to place all food or electronics larger than a cell phone in bins separately. Officials say xray screeners need to be able to identify each item in carryon bags and theyve had trouble doing that when passengers overload their carryon bags. The new procedure has the potential to slow down lines, especially because passengers arent used to it. Right now, it is not being tested at any of the bay area airports.
