Breaking news, chp investigating a crash in dublin that killed a man around 3 00 this morning on the northbound lanes of i680 near stone ridge drive. The driver lost control, hit the Center Divide and was ejected from the car. A driver on the other side of the freeway stopped to help but another car hit that driver. That person we are told was not hurt. Its unclear if speed or alcohol were involved in the first crash. Farm left lane is closed while officers investigate. Chp also investigating how a person died on i 280 in San Francisco overnight. Officers say a body was found in the northbound lanes near the onramp before 11 00 last night. Chp says a witness told them the car appeared to hit the victim. All lanes were closed for two hours during the investigation. No word yet on any suspects or other cars involved. And Pleasant Hill, eight displa fire at an pafrmt complex last night. Contra costa said two of the units have major damage. The electricity and gas had to be shut off so families from all eight units of the complex were forced out. No one was hurt, the cause is still under investigation this morning. And forestville authorities are investigating after a man was shot and killed last night. Sonoma county sheriffs deputies were called to a shooting at a home on river road after 7 00 p. M. The victim was found in the living room and pronounced dead at the scene. A suspect was arrested at the nearby gas station in gernville. Two sheriffs deputies crashed on river road while responding to the accident to the arrest scene. They were not hurt. A motive for the shooting isnt known. An east bay man is being held on 14 million bail after police say he molested three underage girls, deputies arrested 36yearold gary burbank of Discovery Bay thursday night. They believe there could be other victims as well. Now, abc 7 News Reporter katie utis was looking into the story yesterday and does have the story from the east bay. Again, gary burbank, child molestation suspect is in custody. Reporter contra costa sheriffs detectives say 36yearold gary burbank targeted teens on social media. Deputies arrested him in his Discovery Bay home. Wow, it amazing how things can happen underneath your nose and you dont know about it, you know. Reporter neighbors say he kept to himself. Deputies say they found evidence at his home of sexual contact with at least three girls. Ages 14 to 16. We know at least one of the victims they met online and were still investigating as to what method was used but it was certainly over the internet. Reporter facing charges of child molestation and rape and aggravated sexual assault. Its shocking. Its really shocking. Its just its such a coward thing and horrible thing to do. A victim came forward on tuesday. The investigation is preliminary. We got the information very quickly and we acted upon it and our detectives are actively working this case as we speak. Reporter burbank is being held on a 14. 2 million bond. In contra costa county, abc 7 news. The man accused of grabbing a 13yearold girl off a San Francisco street is due in court on monday. Lee eigl was charged with six counts, including kidnapping and lewd acts. He grabbed the girl on wednesday in the westportal neighbohood and tried to force her into the car. Two bystanders herd the screams and stopped kidnapping. A case of meningitis is causing concern for athletes in the east bay. The confirmed case is a swimmer, he took part in a meet last saturday at Dougherty Valley High School in san ramon. Some members of the swim team have been give antibiotics, the infection is not transmitted through the water but long periods of physical contact. Las vegas police are looking for suspects involved in a burglary that forced them to put the Bellagio Hotel on lockdown. The city announced plans to close the shelter on april 10th. Reporter the city tells us there are about 60 people, including families with children sleeping on cots at seven Trees Community center. The plan is not to kick them out but find better accommodations. Cameras are not allowed inside the shelter to protect the privacy of victims. They were forced from their homes and another few weeks they have to monday on again. We all recognize this kind of Emergency Shelter is not ever intended to be a longterm solution for anybody. Reporter the city of san jose set a target date of april 10th to close the shelter. The goal is to get people in to more stabilizing. Reporter abraham received his new heart in december, just in time for his 18th birthday. Hes now looking forward to heading home with his mom and pouring his whole heart into his dreams.
