Have a great day and you talk about how warm or hot its going to be over in oakland today. Oh, yeah. Mid90s. About 91 at 1 00. But right now its very comfortable. We should have 70s and 80s for midto late september. We will get there as soon as tuesday. Even tomorrow things will get better for some. But today we have to go downhill a little bit with the heat advisory and spare the air alert. As much as 10 degrees warmer for not only midand upper 90s on the peninsula, but everyone pretty much in the east bay valleys will be well over 100 degrees. Close to that in the north bay and close to 90 San Francisco. A look outside where its clear, its calm and cool. 59 in san jose. 48 half moon bay. 65 in San Francisco for the past hour or so. It looks nice and glassy on the bay here with no clouds or fog in sight. 54 santa rosa, 55 fairfield. The winds are calm, the flow is going to be with an offshore component and thats going to aid in our warmup. In fact upper elevations still very warm at this hour. So whatever wind we have its going to transport that warmer air. The atmosphere is super dry. 30 degrees dewpoint, 40degree dewpoint. That means relative humidity of 50, 60 . You add heat to this and we will be had the teens to single digits. The only thing going for us really is the lack of wind. So thats sort of the good news quality. Tomorrow with a little bit of sea breeze. Air quality will improve but we will look for more triple digit heat for monday. Mild tomorrow. Heat peaks today. Cooler for everyone on tuesday. And fall arrives early on wednesday. With he just need rain in here now because temperatures will be quite comfortable for the foreseeable future. High pressure still strongly overhead and thats allowing for the offshore flow. Keeping it at bay. Another one is staying to the south of us. That could bring rain to Southern California and san diego. Unlike what we saw with our last heat event, the low from the gulf of mexico brought rain but it will just bring the cooler temperatures. Notice we are already at 65 degrees. The temperatures climb like 8 degrees in the past hour. The relative humidity has dropped from 55 to 41 . The winds are calm and they will stay pretty much that way throughout the day. So we will be looking at highs in the mid90s today. Almost as hot tomorrow, mid80s tuesday and low 80s on wednesday more much of you in the north bay. In livermore 103, then 101, and it will goes to take until tuesday to shave off at least 20 degrees. Thats got news. Highs today in the south bay, 96 san jose, 99 los gatos, in the upper 80s santa cruz, 93 in sunnyvale, 97 redwood city. Menlo park 96. San francisco in the upper 80s, as well as south San Francisco. How about 86 in daly city, ocean beach in the mid80s. 92 in stinson. 98 novato. Sounds like i dont believe it, right . Well, i dont. The beaches, its going to be really hot there. Its only going to be a oneday event, which is the good news. Antioch 103. And livermore. And with the heat and the giants today 84 at 1 00. Staying that way through 4 00. The accuweather sevenday forecast. So the relief comes to the coast, San Francisco, parts of the peninsula and north bay tomorrow by 5 or 10 degrees. Fall arrives early on wednesday, 70s and 80s through the rest of the week and weekend, and that is average for this time of year. So we got a little bit of rain last week . Yeah. Kind of a dousing, i guess . That was nice but nothing in the 10 to 15dayxd outlook comig our way. Thank you, lisa. Kermit the frog, his muppet pals are returning to tv right here on abc.
