Wayne, the missing or married couple from santa rosa, right . Reporter we just spoke with civil authorities asking how the search was going. They said planes are still in the air. They are still looking and still no trace of this missing plane. Meantime, it should have arrived here in petaluma 48 hours ago, almost exactly to the hour. Nothing for people here to do except to worry and to wait. Were hoping for the best. Reporter a lot of customers fly into and out of the two niner diner. There are two customers in particular and the thoughts of prayers of pilots and staff here. Its a small community. Ive seen the airplane, yes. Reporter the airplane disappeared 4 00 p. M. Monday after leaving the truckee tahoe airport headed back here at petaluma. The Sheriffs Department confirmed it carried santa rosa residents brenda and Mark Richardson who live in this home and have not been back for days. Neighbors declined to speak on camera, but described them as loving parents of four daughters. Airport manager calls them excellent pilots. They flew the plane quite onks competent pilots. Based on radar, the Civil Air Patrol has been searching an area between rebel lake and jackson meadows, roughly 25 miles from truckee. It is rough terrain with heavy snow. An intense search is underway off the marin county coast for whoever was on board a boat that capsized near the beach this morning. Sky 7 shows us the vessel. You can see the zod iac taking on water there. A Good Samaritan reported the sunken boat at 11 30 this morning. When authorities reached it they did not bring anyone on board but they did find an ice chest with fresh ice. So, maybe that gives you an idea for the timing. At this hour the coast guard and local agencies are canvassing the area with helicopters, jet skis and boats. So far no one has turned up. And tonight we are learning more about the man suspected of killing three white men in a racially charged attack in fresno yesterday. Detectives say 39yearold Kori Ali Muhammad laughed as he recounted the shooting rampage that includes gunning down a motel Security Guard tuesday. There is a growing memorial for the victims. Laura. Reporter hi, dan. Police say Kori Muhammad has been very cooperative, but also very cold hearted. Even lighthearted about what hes admitted of doing here. As for a motive, muhammad told police it has something to do with his longstanding hatred. Kori muhammad is not a terrorist. But he is a racist. Reporter a day after Kori Muhammad went on a shooting rampage in his city, police chief jerry dire says muhammad walked him through each murder without showing a hint of remorse. As he spoke about the shootings and shooting individuals, he did so in a very callous manner. In fact, multiple times laughed as he described what transpired. Reporter today the mother of one of those killed, 37yearold mark came to the sidewalk where had he son died. He was amazing. Like i said, very loving, very caring. Police say suspect said he targeted ran dalz in the passenger of a pg e truck because of his race. The third victim was the last one killed just standing in front of catholic charities. The hand gun the police say muhammad used, the 357 magnum is still missing. Detectives believe it was mikd picked up by an hispanic man near the shooting scene. That citation could cost her up to 1,000. Around the corner, another driver gave an excuse an officer said didnt add up. Driver said she used her mothers tag last night to take her home. It was not the mothers placard. It was actually the fathers placard who was revealed to be in the hospital. So, hes not anywhere around. Reporter placards are issued to one person who has to be present to use it. When misused, the placard is seized and the person has to apply for a new one.
