Police are looking for a man who attacked an 11 Year Old Girl on her way to school. The girl told police the man blew a kiss at her and showed her a nude photo of a woman as he at 7 50 yesterday morning. The girl ran and hid behind a parked car and called her mom who alerted police. The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30s or early 40s. Bald on top with dirty blonde hair on the sides. He was drivin an early 2000 model white suv, possibly a toyota, with a bike rack on top. The Oakland City Council is scheduled to vote tonight on the resolution calling for sanctuary workplaces for immigrant workers. Supporters say the resolution calls upon employers to establish workplaces where workers are not threatened or discriminated against based on their immigration status. The vote will be preceded by a rally organized by labor leaders starting at 4 30 outside city hall. A group of union leaders, lawmakers and californias treasurer unveiled their plan to make it cheaper and faster to payoff student loans. Their proposal calls for california to establish a 25 million fund that would help lower interest rates. Supporters say California College seniors graduate with about 22,000 in student debt on average, and they believe that hurts College Graduates and our economy. A lot of people who used to be able to take for granted they could go to college at an affordable rate, get out of college with a low debt and be able to move on with their life and starts making major life decisions theyre not able to make those decisions.
