And theyre not expected to recede until sometime overnight, possibly not until sometime early tomorrow morning. The residents will not be able to return any time soon due to contamination. Residents on the neighborhood say over and over, how fast and how high the area would flood. Coyote creek runs right through rock springs. Said it was quote a unique breach. So much runoff from the storm. Reached storage capacity. The mayor did not go into detail saying the top priority was getting residents out safely. Captain told us meetings were held to go over the potential for floods. The suck pump can drain 6,000 gallons of water per hour. They say the water is coming from the vacant lot next door owned by the city of American Canyon. The dirt mounds dumped there by the city 25 years ago now covered in grass call the water to drain directly at them. Seen it in past years, but never like this. Never did our pool house flood, did our backyard flood. Never did we run three sump pumps. Did never we stay up 24 7. Now the walls of the pool house are so damp they peel away. Their sump pumps are running 24 7 as for their pleas to the city. We have gotten zero response. We dont think we made any changes to the property we owned.
