Noor has told her story of abuse at his hands. We believe it is misguided and wrong to prosecute her and that it dishonors the memories of the victims to punish an innocent person. A woman left the family home today without comment. I think the family should understand that its not a reflection on them or their neighborhood or how we feel about them at all. Dozens of people boarded the celebration train today for a free ride to San Francisco and an event honoring dr. Martin luther king jr. s life and legacy. King in 1965 from selma to montgomery, alabama. Signs and songs could be seen and heard in oakland on this day honoring dr. Martin luther king jr. There were lots of young people involved in this march. Parents i talked with say they brought their children here to teach them about Martin Luther king jr. s legacy and the methods he used to push for change. I think thats why weve been stuck the past couple of years is because weve been internetting each other instead of being out here on the ground, out here on the pavement, connecting with each other. That is the message that was shared by muslim and catholic spiritual leaders today at this san jose mosque. Theyre urging ongoing dialogue in order to foster some Common Ground as part of a process, not a onetime event. A contingent of catholics marched together to form new friendships in san jose. Feld entertainment says the show has seen a downward trend inspect attendance over the last ten years. The crab season got off to a late start because of acid making crab unsafe for consumption. By 11 00 in the morning it still wants to linger around the region. So the commute tomorrow going to be a little slower as the fog is with us first thing on tuesday. Into the afternoon we go. Strong winds will accompany the storm in the evening as well and it will accompany a wide range of rainfall. The highest totals in the north bay, lower as you go south. Hour by hour we go. Watch the time samp in the corner of your screen. 8 00 morning likely some light showers as the wednesday morning commute is under way. The first half of wednesday is scattered showers. Not until the afternoon that the storm system begins to pick up. The pops of yellow and orange you see on your screen north of the golden gate by 5 00, thats the heavy rain. It will sink south by 7 00. As it does move south, its going to lose a lot of energy as is very typical with these storm systems. So by midnight early thursday, its weakening so less rain in the south bay. Potential rainfall on your wednesday. The storm is going to linger for the longest period of time in the north way so 1 to 2 inches of likely. Oakland, San Francisco, concord an inch to half an inch of rain of the then you go south and that storm system falls apart around livermore, san jose, less in the way of rainfall, a 10th to half an inch of rain. What will be widespread are gusty winds. 2 00 wednesday afternoon beginning to pick up right along the coast. Some spots over 40 miles per hour. Then in the evening ahead of the front, these winds really pick up across the entire region wednesday, between 20 and 40 miles per hour. That woman, lindsay frasher, is now charged with attempted kidnapping. She approached one of the children, called her by a different name, if i remember right, and tried to take her. Other people at the park held the woman until officers arrived. They say she has no connection to the child. We have new details tonight on a fire that gutted a popular restaurant in alameda. Investigators now say the fire caused an estimated 250,000 in damage to the japanese restaurant. They believe the fire was accidental and started near a drier in the restaurant, but an official cause has yet to be determined. The restaurant has been a fixture for almost 35 years. The owner says the restaurant will reopen just as soon as possible. A neighbor in san carlos reported spotting what appeared to be a mountain lion. Well, the homeowner went out to investigate a snorting sound and found this 1500pound farm animal had fallen right through the pool liner. Its head was above water but animal control was concerned that the cow would get hypothermia. Firefighters removed about five feet of water from the pool with their pumps and used a tow truck to pull it out. They say the cow never seemed to be in distress and should be just fine.
