Earlier, she and dozens of people had been at a Memorial Service at a church on 66th avenue for two young men who drowned in Stanislaus County last month. The gathering moved downtown for a vigil and while there a car drove up and started shooting. Three others were injured. Now to the latest on the nightclub shooting in orlando. Today hospital Officials Say six people wounded in the massacre are still in critical condition, 25 of the wounded are still in the hospital. Also today, orlandos mayor revealed the gunmanman omar mateen threatened to strap bombs to hostages and boobytrap the pulse nightclub with explosives that proved to be unfounded. Tomorrow president obama and Vice President joe biden will travel to orlando to meet with the families of the victims. And today we looked deeper into her roots here in rodeo. 30 year old noor salman met the orlando gunman omar mateen on facebook. They were married in 2011 in hercules and after that Family Friends say they didnt see her except once for her fathers funeral two years ago. She grew up in this house in rodeo with her three younger sisters and graduated from Johns High School in crockett in 2004 as seen in this yearbook photo. Santa rosa Police Sheriffs deputies and federal drugt agents raided several locations confiscating marijuana and hash oil. One Police Officer says drug officers had never before seen the particular process being used to extract hash oil. Hes being remembered by his colleagues as a cop who loved his work, loved his motorcycle, and as a family man who was devoted to his wife and two kids. Officer Michael Katherman badge number 3900, the second motorcycle officer in Department History to die on duty. I knew mike, and he was a welllooked officer, hard worker. Reporter friends and colleagues came to the police ad min building. So did the families of officers. Their children threw pictures expressing their sorrow. Kareens husband is a cop. Earlier this year, in a sad irony, katherman rode in the Police Unity Tour to honor fallen officers and raise money for their families. I really felt sick to my stomach after a while and the feeling didnt go away for quite a long time. New regulations to protect spouses not on the loans came just in time to allow karen to keep the house. But despite reforms, Consumer Reports says there are still plenty of pitfall was reverse mortgages. Reverse mortgages can be very risky loans. They come with certain conditions and if you dont meet them, you could potentially lose your home. Reporter a reverse mortgage can also be expensive. So Consumer Reports has asked tough questions like, what is the total cost including closing fees and expenses . Is moving a better, cheaper option . Can you truly afford to live in your home . Youre still responsible for paying property taxes, insurance and upkeep. And finally, is this a home you can stay in as you age . Does it have a lot of stairs . Is there big property to maintain . Are you close to good doctors and hospitals . And probably most important, are you near family members who can look out for you if you need help why your older lives . Advice seniors should consider carefully. One important change, before applying for a reverse mortgage seniors will be required to fill out a detailed work sheet that outlines possible consequences.
