But the cause is still under investigation. In the north bay, heatherton street in san rafael was just reopened after a woman was hit and killed while crossing it just after 1 00 in front of the san rafael transit center. Police say a dump truck hit her while she was in the crosswalk. Witnesses say the victim was an elderly woman. San Francisco Police are trying to determine why a paratransit driver ran over and killed his own passenger today. The accident happened at geary and franklin in San Francisco. Reporter kristen, there were two pedestrian accidents in San Francisco today, one a man in the tenderloin was hit and suffered injuries and then here where the woman was killed. The victim had gotten off this San Francisco paratransit van and was using her walker to cross the intersection at franklin street and geary boulevard around 10 45 this morning. Made her way toward the front of the bus. At that point, the driver accelerated. Reporter police hope video from surveillance cameras at a nearby church will help investigators determine if there was mechanical failure or driver error. Weve learned the victim was heading to a meeting hosted by senior and disability action, a group that is sponsoring town hall gatherings regarding safety on San Francisco streets. This after a woman in a wheelchair was fate alley struck on Market Street back in february. Daisy brooks and joyce ga lagos are members of that advocacy group. We need some type of a safety for somebody here guarding us. Ironically brooks was heading to the same meeting as the victim and had also planned to take paratransit but was running late. Fairfield police are telling residents that a highrisk sex offender has moved into their neighborhood. George shockley was twice convicted in the 90s for sex crimes against children. We are learning tonight what led authorities to the arrest of three people in the murder of a millbrae man. Keith greens exgirlfriend and two others are being held in connection with his death. Dan, abc 7 news has learned that san mateo sheriffs forensic units went to the hill borough home of greens exgirlfriend twice to look for dna evidence in the murder. The second time just last week. Sources with knowledge of the probe have also told us the sequence of events that led to the arrests. Three people have been arrested, tiffany li and two others. Theyre charged with the murder of keith green, lis exboyfriend and father of their two young children. His body was found in midmay in a field in smoem na county with a single gunshot wound to the neck. A week and a half later on may 20th, sheriffs deputies went to this Apartment Building in burlingame and arrested olivier adella. Early the next morning, a s. W. A. T. Team raided this mansion and arrested two more. Several sources tell us that afr investigators identify greens body they began looking at li and buy yacht. Their probe also led to adella who ran a limo business. Investigators found he had sold his mercedes shortly after green went missing. They found the new owner and checked the car. Sources say that by using lum afollow, a chemical that detects blood thats been clean they found blood traces in the trunk that turned out to be greens. Investigators also found evidence that led he them to believe adella was a flight risk. They quickly took him into custody at his apartment.
