Santa clara county making more shelter beds available to protect the homeless from the cold. The armory winter shelter providing 150 more beds than usual now. This is a three story Apartment Building on harrison street in oakland. Two minor injuries. No one was taken to the hospital. So, everyone is okay. This was a threealarm fire. They say its under investigation. But thats how the call came in. Two people were hurt in this fire. They suffered from smoke inhalation. Theyre calling those minor injuries. They were not taken to the hospital. We are on harrison street in oakland. This fire is now out. Firefighters say they did help people get out of the building safely. With the risk of flooding looming, residents of a morgan hill rv park have until tonight to evacuate. Abc7 news was at the thousand trails rv park as people started leaving last night. Now, the park sits along uvas creek and that could overflow this weekend. Tenants say they appreciate the advance notice considering how much time they were given during the last storm. We were on our way in and they had just blocked the driveway from anybody coming in and everybody was evacuating. Ten minutes is rough the Property Owner says everybody has to be out by 5 00 today. Displaced tenants have the option of staying at another rv park. A lot of bay area cities have sandbag filling stations set up for you. In most cases, bring your own shovel. We initially had heard that folks were asked to call that nonemergency number that we had shown you earlier in the newscast but police now say those 911 calls were able to go through overnight. They assured us that calls were answered, dealt with. They did have to go into manual mode, though, because their Computer Aided Dispatch center went down. Officers were forced to use radios, phones, they also had to use paper forms with any information from those callers so track and just keep on top of those calls that came in. Thank you, jessica. Developing news in the south bay. Police are searching for the gunman who killed two men and wounded a third at a san jose taqueria. Shots were fired just before 8 00 last night. Two of the men died at the scene. The third was taken to the hospital. A woman who worked next door told us what she saw. Well, she was a customer, i think shes related to one of the victims. She was screaming and she got a phone call, im guessing, from family members, letting her know what was going on and she ran outside screaming, like, saying no, like, and just panicking. At last check t man in the hospital was stable. Neither motive nor the victims identities have been released. Police in San Francisco are searching for the driver who rammed the back of a car, then took off, dragging a woman about five feet. Officers tell us that the driver of an suv hit the parked car as people were unloading groceries from it. A woman who confronted the driver was then dragged a short distance. The driver will be charged with felony hit and run when caught. The suspects car should have moderate damage in the front and the side. The san jose building is still closed because of a major electrical problem. Sky 7 was over the complex north 1st street. Repairs are taking longer than expected. An association represented them plans to sue the city of richmond over a voterapproved rent control measure.
