Livermore police and fire officials are investigating. A man who took hostages at gunpoint in the east bay is facing a slew of charges this morning. The 35yearold man who has not been identified has been holding two people hostage at the arco gas station in antioch. Earlier he carjack ad driver stole off and stole another car while leading police on a chase. He crashed near a gas station. Witnesses say he tried to carjack several other drivers before going into the gas station. The guy turned around looked at me, pointed a gun at me i locked my door and rolled up my window.
