Disappointed and felt like he needs to go to work, face his teammates, and, you know, soldier through it. Harbaugh would not discuss how the nfl will handle this. This is a mug shot from that arrest. The charge was later reduced to reckless driving. In june of 2012 smith threw a party at his san jose home. He was stabbed, but not seriously hurt. Two men were shot. Police say smith was not the shooter, though both men filed lawsuits against him this month. We dont know if they have signed up but it will be available in 20 nfl cities. Dogs attacked and killed a chihuahua in brentwood. Two pit bulls belonging to quarterback jones more than night. The dogs may end up with warranty with two pit bulls that mauled a little boy this summer. Now theres a push to get the dogs put down. The antioch animal control officers report describes a tenyear owed bloody stairwelly this tenyearold was afaked his neighbors pit bulls on the august 11th. The son was also bitten on the arm while trying to stop the attack. Both dogs had expired rabies vaccinations and the animal control investigators has deemed them to be vicious and recommends them to be euthanized. But the owners told the city they would do anything they needed to do to fight for their dogs. These people are making a desperate attempt to save their dogs at the expense of the health and safety of the neighborhood and my client. Now some neighbors are passing out flyers asking others to speak out at the hearing against the attempt to save the dogs and bring them home. My concern is if the dogs are not contained, they will get out and somebody else will get hurt. Judddy hall said shell be at the hearing to explain why she shot the video of the escaped dogs in front of the home. It happened several months before hunt wares attacked. I thought of what may have happened to me had i been running past at that time. And its not the first incident the dogs have gotten out. Concord police arafted mannoses expected of stealing personal information from an automated postal machine. A skimmer was attached to the machine at the Concord Main Post Office earlier this week and tuesday the investigators caught the suspect. He knew when they tried to retrieve his equipment. They then searched his hotel room where he was staying and they found stolen pin numbers and credit card numbers. Just two weeks into the School Year Students and teachers are wondering who could do such a thing. We have the story. Fox Elementary School in belmont was hit by vandals sometime between midnight wednesday and 6 30 thursday morning. Taggers turn the school into their personal playground, leaving messages and drawings on the black top, tables, curbs and outbuildings. There was like a zombie face and there was another one that says, well, like drop it like its hot. Some kids were really upset by it. I thought they were like bad guys this came to our school during the night and then like paint it had with graffiti. Parents cant understand why anyone would want to deface the school. This whole school got remodeled over the summer and it looked really beautiful. I was just really disappointed somebody would do that. Little kids play here. They dont need the graffiti all over. Some has been painted over like on the shed but you see some of the red in between. This is just a temporary solution. A contractor will be coming to do a permanent fix. Its still unknown to find out how much it will cost to get rid of the graffiti, but the dollar amount does make a difference. In the cost and repairing and painting gets hay enough, this could potentially be charged as a felony. Police and wildlife officials have been tracking 3900pound bear for three days now. Officers received numerous reports of the black bear roaming freel in and out of parking lots and in the backyards of homes. Authorities were able to shoot a tranquil laser into his shoulder but the animal still managed to get away. A controversy is brewing over tomorrows prime time emmy awards. The Award Ceremony will include five special tributes, including one to actor corey montee. That had some people questioning the move, including fans of actor larry hagman who died last year but who is not among those getting a special tribute. The producers are standing their decision saying he was admired by a younger generation. He doesnt have the body of work, and there are people like larry hagman and john klugman who had more resonance over the years. If younger viewers are watching, thats where the money is. Thank you. This morning president obama is warning of another recession in House Republicans dont back down on their position on the debt limit. Yesterday the house pass add temporary funding measure to keep the government running, but the bill is attached to a measure that strips fund fourth president s healthcare law. In his weekly address, he said the house vote threatens to inflict economic pain on millions of americans. Our message to the United States senate is simple. The American People dont want the government shut down and they dont want obamacare. Some are actually willing to plunge america into default if they cant defund the Affordable Care act. Think about that. They would actually plunge this country back into recession all to deny the basic security of healthcare to millions of americans. Thats not happening. And they know its not happening. The provision to defund the Affordable Care act is expected to die in the democraticcontrolled senate. Happening today, bay area communities are joining a nationwide protest over the proposed keystone pipeline. People in San Francisco, berkeley will hold demonstrations. Advocates say the pipeline project will have an adverse impact on the environment. Todays Demonstrations Begin the 1 00 at the hub and noon at Biofuel Oasis in berkeley and at noon in San Francisco. Also happening today, San Francisco will celebrate the u. N. s Enter International day of peace. It kicks off at noon at the u. N. Plaza. It will feature art tests and speakers and music. They will hold a General Assembly to commemorate the second anniversary of the occupy movement. Police have arrested members of a notorious street gang who they say ran a dogfighting ring in San Francisco. Investigators confiscated the video. Vic lee has it. The video is too violent and disturbing to show in its entirety. Two pit bulls are fighting as their owners and bystanders provoke them to fight harder. The inspector syl verse is with the gang task force. Slapped and punched and yelled at and they fight pretty viciously for about five minutes. The video cuts off. Police believe this dogfight happened in march at the hunters view housing development. They arrested three men who police say are documented members of the west mob gang. Robberies, murders, they have been burglaries, drug dealing. Police say ed perkins owns one of the dogs. They say ac matthews, junior is owner of the other one. Another was a bystander. But being a spectator at a dogfight is also a crime. When police searched jacksons home they found a pit bull mom and her three puppies and a bulletproof vest and ammunition. They also recognized 19yearold rice from the video. He was shot to death three months after the dogfight at the bus stop in the bay view. It was sad irony that rice himself was the victim of an almost fatal mauling by two pit bulls when he was only 11 years old. Police found other videos of pit bulls in perkins cell phone. This one showed two of them apparently being trained to bite by attacking hanging tires. Silver suspects pit bull street fighting goes on more than we know. Its not an uncommon practice at all. It is vastly underreported, i believe. Silver told us street gangs use dogfighting as a means of controlling their turf. It creates increasing violence and intimidation in the neighborhood. The University Says there are 2,000 more students this year compared to last year. The number of wireless devices more than doubled in one year.
