And somehow, he forced overtime, with a sweet layup. Ten seconds left on ot, the mvp had a chance to win it and he had an air ball and the cavaliers taking game two at oracle, 9593. You have scott foster and tony brothers again. And they never saw a whistle they didnt want to blow. They love it. And lebron was living at the line in the last game. And thats how he racked up the points. As least part of it. We dont want to see that again, and the warriors are sensitive to Scott Foster Tony fisher officiated games. You had Sean Livingston go for ten points on 8 of 10 shooting. Nobody saw that coming and we didnt see the splash brothers combining for a total of 20 points. So, we figured this is going to be a lot different heading in to game two. Lets get thoughts from the respected mvp. I need to play better, to help my team. I dont know what that means physically, but we are at our complete best as a team, its when i usually am playing a pretty good game. Doesnt matter if you hold steph to under 10 or livingston gets 20 or all the guys play great, you cannot give up 25 points off of turnovers on the road. This is a guy that coming in to the league, came straight out of high school, was supposed to be a super star, ala what we have seen with lebron, shreds his knee, and spends years trying to come back and he was a journeyman trying to get a job. The warriors are glad to say the journey stops here. No question, they said, some people described the knee injury, as a smash pretzel. That is how bad that near injury was. Livingston, people act like he never scored 20 points before. Who hasnt he played for . The clippers, heat, thunder, wizardss, hornets, back to the wizards and the nets last two years with the warriors. So what do we expect from sean in game two . Game one, shots went in for me. Game two, i may not get the same amount of shots or they may not go in. But i still have to find a way to impact the game and be aimpressive. You know, the funny thing, after game one, because the warrer i donts won by 15 and steph and klay did not play that well. So many people, we live in a world of over reaction and social media and they are like, this is going to be a sweep, this will be easy. Nothing has been easy for the Golden State Warrior team. And you know the cavs will make adjustments coming in to tonight. They have to make adjustments, they are going to go more up tempo. They are the number one threepointing team in the league. They didnt get their shots to go down. They are hoping for open 3s. Hit 43 of the threes in the playoffs and made 27 in the playoffs. Remember, this team hit 25 threes in a game against the hawks. So, they are not going to abandoned the style after one game. Until you actually get on the floor and play against them, to get a feel for it, its different. I think the guys, you know, after playing game one had a feel for how they play and the speed of the game and the force in which they cut and move the basketball. After game one, i think we will be well prepared for game two. Now, if the warriors do win game two and they want to come out with a lot of energy. Its an important game, dont want to give up home court as we saw against the okc thunder. You know what happens on the concourse after the game . Because you cant leave it. I mean the parking lot is jammed. So, it is dance party. And we saw this on instagram, this video, and the third thing i thought was, how did shoe get up. I saw the hair. Right. And i thought, i saw that move down there. The spin on the ground and i thought that was more my falldown. That was after how many years in the nfl. That is shoe getting up in the morning. It was the only time in my career that i asked to get an autograph from an athlete, sportscenter said yet, and i wanted to get it for my dad. When he did, there was a hush that went over the crowd of a thousand, and it was like, it parted like the red sea as he walked to his table with his wife. And once he got there, you know, she spoke for him, because he was strickenby parkin sons, he signed autographs for about an hour. I got my autograph and i came home, and i realized i left my glass, another hour had passed and he was still signing autographs for the hotel. I wish every athlete could see that, see how gracious, for anybody that wanted it, no matter who you were, he was giving you an autograph and a picture. Because of parkinsons is such a cruel and debilitating disease, we did not get to enjoy ali in the past two decades, how impactful could he have been in our communities where we have so much strife in someplaces. You look at what is goi inin ii chicago, oakland, san francisco, we talk about how proud he was of his faith. Yeah. And we struggle to deal with isis and communicating and understanding what the culture is all about. If ali had been healthy for the last 20 years we would have seen so much more from him. Imagine having spoken to him after 9 11, what he could have said then. And what he could have done now for relationships between muslims and, you know, people of islam and americans and people worldwide. I think there would not be the gap. He would have been able to tell people that its a religion. And theres different people in the world that follow religions. It was amazing to me that that man, without the internet, without twitter, without any social media was able to be a worldwide icon and he did it. Just imagine if he had what we have now. Right. Lastly, i want to laook back toa clip from 1974, where he is doing a live interview, they are trying hype the fight and he knows which buttons to push on frazier, and gets him in to a wrestling match on live tv, because he knew it would pump up the ticket sales. He understood how the media worked long before anybody else. He was the first rapper too. He had great rhymes and great lyrics. And he had a hype man. Who had a hype man . In his 60s. He had a hype man, he was a promoter. And everyone loved him. Regardless of what race you were, or man, woman, kid, whatever. They loved him. Talking to a couple of warriors assistant coaches, one of the concerns is intensity, because we saw it even in the Third Quarter of game one, where sometimes they take their foot off the pedal a bit and you cannot do that against lebron james. What do you expect from lebron tonight . I think he has to walk a fine line. They want the go up tempo and they want to get everyone else involved and they want to get jr. Smith shooting threes, there comes a point where the super star has to be the super star and you sense that he will be like a bull rushing to the basket. Well, that is that fine line, does he take the game over or does he try to keep everyone involved in shooting the threes like they have been most of the postseason. That was the line he walks.
