This question comes from jess f. Who asked via email, we recently refinanced our home loan through cash call and wish to pay biweekly. Now it seems they dont furnish payment statements. Is that legal . They do. Nobody by law has to send you a bill or ask you to pay. You have to pay them. Completely legal. However, im pretty sure cash call sends out a packet of information when you refinance with them. One of them would be a book where every month you pull out the thing and send it in or use it as a reminder. One thing, if you want to pay biweekly, just so you know, the majority of savings there is not because you paid a couple of days early and save money on the interest. The savings comes from making 13 payments a year rather than 12. Because youre pays every two weeks. That adds a payment. You really dont need a company because a lot of times theyll charge 500 bucks to set it up. At the end of the year, mail one more payment then done on 23 years on a 30year loan. Its a good deal.
