San jose police are investigating a shooting involving one of their officers. It happened around 7 00 last night when officers went to check on a man at a mobile home park. Firefighters found the body of the driver. Its not yet clear what caused the accident. A sexually violent predator could be released from the hospital as soon as next month. Today, a judge set a deadline of october 13th to find a suitable new home for fraser smith or he will be released as a transient. Over the summer, the landlord backed out after complaints from the neighbors. Ray mcdonald pleaded not guilty today to rape.
